Jennifer at front desk was horribly rude and very unprofessional checking us in. I had to call my bank because of the way we were being charged deposits and she was rude because she said she was being inconvenienced and we should of taken care of this before our stay. I did not know that my bank would not authorize different deposits at the sametime. We will never stay there again because of how rude she was. My granddaughter has autism and she was so upset by the time we got in the room she just wanted to go home and not even stay it took me over an hour to calm her down. she can't take confortation and Jennifer's attitude was more than she could take. Also, we had kids knocking on our door and walls and it took over a half hour for someone to put a stop to it after we called the front desk three times. The air in the room had to be turned down to 55 before it cooled the room at all. two lights didn't work. we called three times to get clean sheets for the hide a bed and no one ever came so my grand son slept on the couch without making it out. unacceptable.

Our room was disgusting. A million different stains all over the floor, carpet felt almost wet/damp. I didn't even want to walk on the floor without shoes on and having little kids with made me want to barf thinking about them playing on the floor. Went to pull the pull out bed out and the cover had blood stains on it... And pulled it off to go tell front desk and mattress had huge huge stain on it. Husband went down to tell them and they luckily just said let's switch you rooms. New room was better but still kinda eh. Definitely everything is way outdated and kinda dirty. Won't stay here again.

I was happy with my stay. My family and i stayed for one night. My little kiddos loved the pool, which seemed clean to us. It was very busy as there was a bunch of travel baseball families. The facility seemed dated, however. Not necessarily a bad thing, but a remodel should be in their future. Upon arrivale our room was clean enough. We found debris on the floor (food) but nothing we could throw away ourselves. The water fixture on the ceiling (for fires) had come loose and was in pieces in the bathroom. The blackout curtain in the bedroom was broken but still did the job. It smelled clean and i didnt see hair on/in the bed or shower. We would stay here again.

Older property, not super clean, lots of families with unruly kids. So noisy at night!

We got to our room and immediately noticed a giant red stain on the floor. My son was later in the bedroom and found an open capri sun under the bed which makes me wonder if the room was cleaned at all. Bed time came and our room had 0 black out blinds and had 2 lights from the roof pointed directly at the window which made sleeping near impossible. Which was frustrating because we also had 2 children with us. My son also also had some sort of reaction on his face after sleeping on the pull out couch the first night (again, was it cleaned or sheets changed??)

I didn’t like the fact I was charged $250 for damage, and they claimed it was frosting and confetti. I’m not sure why that would be that much. Staff members were constantly calling my room accusing the kids of things and they were sleep on one of the calls. Last 2 times were horrible got charged extra fees for stuff that shouldn’t have been. Overall not staying there again used to be my favorite hotel but now im never going to that place again I’ve never been charged any fees like that at any hotel and I’ve been out of the country multiple times just a shame.

Asked for late check out because our cheerleaders made it to day two for state, high school has been booking at this hotel for many years. Hotel manager told me no, later to find out she allowed others in our group to check out late and then even charged a family yo have late check out

They gave our room to someone else due to a clerical end with the spelling of someone else’s name close Tom ours. They said they were refunding us but we also need you to process that refund. How can that happen like immediately. We had to drive 2 hours back home due to no hotels to drive 2 hours back today to finish our day and pick up others that was part of mount family weekend for college student

Lobby is still impressive. Breakfast buffet looks nice, but there aren't a lot of options for those who can't have dairy. Rooms are dated, carpet and furniture was dirty, toilet continually flushed even after I reported it and it was supposedly repaired. Large family in #309 kept me awake until 2:30 a.m. (not the hotel's fault, but it didn't help me feel good about my stay).

The primary reason we stayed at this property for a few nights is that my wife loved the breakfast there. She swears that they have some of the best omelets she has eaten. There breakfast selection is nice, the staff is very friendly and over all a nice experience. Would say a good place for families and it does have a good view of the Illinois River. Plenty of food places to go to and definitely enjoy staying there.
