Did not like that parking was so expensive. The line / wait at the front desk at check-in was too long, waited 20 minutes. After checkin, then we had to go park so overall process was beyond 30 minutes. I am super concerned with parking garage, someone is bound to be killed. I went out to my car (on level 3) at 10pm on Friday, Dec 16, to get an item. There were 3 - 4 vehicles that come screaming down around the corners and gunning it on the straight aways, chasing eachother. I am not certain but I believe they were the valet staff from Capital Grill or other. Your videos in the garage should show. They are going to kill someone. A father was with his 6 and 8 year old children the same time I was out there, the cars could have hit them. 1) they will kill someone if not themselves, 2) customers do not expect their vehicles to be speed and bounced throughout the parking deck.

I live in Chicago so needed a quick one night weekend getaway ear some shopping, good restaurants and activities for the kids (Dave n Busters around the corner). Wife was out of town. Kids had fun, I got a chance to kick my feet up and didn’t spend too much money!

When checking in, they did not recognize my HOTELS.COM booking and wanted payment. When I showed her the hotel.com confirmation, she acted as if she had never seen one before, commented “That’s not OUR confirmation #”. We had to move out of line, call hotels.com, was put on long hold- that person never returned to my call to help Me- finally I waited in line again, with another check in person and he helped. Took so long and I felt the first person was uneducated about the process, never asked for help from management, and generally did not care about me, or my family. Finally get to the room, order some food that hours later arrived. “They lost our order”.

They always give you the less popular rooms when booking through a third party and should stop that. We had no view, no bathtub when I saw rooms in the same price range with one, and no offering of night light, etc. when I checked in with my 2-year-old. They shouldn’t claim to be family friendly when they really aren’t. The restaurant was amazing and great service there! They also has a great gym.

The property was okay, but the shuttle service was terrible. The driver was so rude to our family. He was on some sort of strange power trip. Not what you want to deal with at 6:30 in the morning while traveling.
