Crowne Plaza Hotel Chicago O'Hare, an IHG Hotel

Staycation with the family. Didn’t get to enjoy all of the amenities but to know so much was readily available was amazing. I will be back

There where no rooms on the same floor for one family and the wifi doesn't work.

Very clean facilities. Nice pool with two lap lanes, perfect for exercisers as well as kids. Workout/exercise areas are very nice...good selection of exercise machines. Weight Room has several machines in a separate room. Loved the spaciousness of our king bed room, especially the love seat near the window. Breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had from a hotel that includes breakfast-six types of sliced fruit plus bananas and oranges, cottage cheese, eggs (2 ways), bacon, sausage, potatoes, texas toast french toast that looked amazing, oatmeal, various pastries, and breads (plus more that I cannot remember), with condiments such as salsa, shredded cheese, etc.

The property was close to the airport and nearby to shopping mall but not much else. I did have some issues with the property guests being loud and disruptive til late hours since I did arrive on a late flight from California and wanted to get to bed early. Guests nearest to elevator on floor 8 were leaving their doors propped open and making very loud noises and allowing children to run around. Room closest to mine (my room 827) across the hall and room a few rooms down going towards elevators was leaving theirs open as well and these rooms had adults having a adult room get together out in the halls apparently. Noise did not reduce til about 12 midnight.

The second I walked in the staff was very courteous and helpful. After I entered the floor I was to be on I was greeted with a large amount of noise followed by children screaming. I thought that was going to end by the night getting later (time was 9:30pm) this persisted until 11pm. The. Noise was repeated again at 2:30-3am with another set of people leaving their room and making a lot of loud noises as well as at 5:30-6am same set of people with child having same loud noises waking me yet again. Over all stay this time as to my last time wasn’t a pleasant experience to say the least.

Hotel is in a very good location that suited our needs. Accessible to restaurants, stores, highways and airport and family.

There was a very loud party on our floor.I went down to the front desk to report the loud party at about 12:30 am, but there was a long line at the fron desk so I gave up after a while and went back to my room. The party died down around 2:00 am. But then there were multiple loud arguments in the hall after 3:00 am which I am sure were related to the party. Our entire family got very little sleep which made for a miserable Sunday.

I didn’t like how the instructions to find the shuttle was so vague. It would have been better if the terminal was mentioned and that it was in front of Hilton , and then mentioned that the waiting area was door number 2. Also for the drop off at the airport instead of asking what airline it is , it should be what terminal, we were dropped off at United Airlines side , I knew we needed to be on Terminal 2, but since I didn’t know that we wouldn’t be dropped off at terminal 2 since he only asked for the airline name we my kids and I had to walk all the way for our Terminal again, and the driver was not real nice about it. I understand he asked for the airline but I was not aware that he would be dropping us at the wrong terminal since the Airline was only thing that was mentioned.

Stayed with family , some malfunction of AC addressed by the management Good breakfast

We were greeted and checked in by one of the most professional and friendly front desk personnel "Yesenia". She was gorgeous and treated us like family. My family could never be more prouder. We are sure to be back. The reception area was magnificent as well as the rooms. Contrary to the negative reviews I read before the booking, my stay was fantastic.
