We came for up for G-fest and needed a room for 5 people and the suite was perfect for us! the room was spacious with two rooms and very clean. The family enjoyed the breakfast and the reception, and the front desk was very helpful with all my questions! Will definitely stay here again!

The kids loved swimming in the pool. However, there weren’t any clean towels available when we swam in the morning. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were hustling to get to the free evening snacks and were greeted and served before ending time. The kids loved the breakfast in the morning also.

My family is always excited to stay at the embassy the rooms are always clean the staff is nice. The morning breakfast is also well put together. I lost my dad in thanksgiving so I decided to stay Christmas just to made new beginnings without him. The kids left for breakfast and I stay in bed it was 8:30 and the housekeeper was looking me in face while I’m laying in bed uncovered let’s just say I asked her what she was in the room at 8:30 no one called for help it was silent in the room because my 20 and 16 year old was way she stated she wanted to see if we were staying another night and walked out I’m sure she was up to something this is not ok the desk said sorry and looked at the time which was now 9am and didn’t understand why she was there either

The property was very clean and the staff was pleasant but it's winter in Chicago and the hotel was freezing. The elevators were all broken so most guests were in the stairwell the entire trip. Imagine leaving a pool with multiple children and having to use the stairs to get back to your room. The kids are now sick because the stairwell was ice cold. Felt like we were walking outside while wet. All while not having towels at the pool either. Breakfast was horrible but I wasn't expecting much from a buffet. We got there early and still there were no plates or silverware for a long time. Just not what I was expecting from a nice hotel. Felt like an upscale motel

We were in Chicago for a family get-together and needed a place large enough for my family of 6 to stay. We have started using Embassy when we travel due to the larger rooms a great breakfast.

We booked the room for a birthday party for the kids to swim.. the pool was disgusting and there was a light with an open wire covered with a bucket right on the sode of the pool.. We did go to the desk the girls that were working were really great .. We did get our money back and ended up leaving to another hotel for their pool ..

It was directly across the street from the convention centre, near fashion outlets and of course o hare ….
Toilets seem to have been changed where some keep running water after 15 min…we had to change our room because the toilet wouldn’t flush properly …new room had similar issue
Breakfast was good and convenient …omelettes made fast…decent selection of items…
Pool was not operating first day, which sucked for kids…was open later the next day
Was pricy at $195 usd for just the room taxes accounted for $26 usd per night …
So that converts to $300 cad not including $33 usd per day for parking ….so all in its $350 approx per night

Worst sofa bed we have ever encountered. It was so worn and broken down. Completely unusable comfort wise even for a child. The french doors have frosted glass and open onto the atrium that is brightly lit all night, which in turn lights the living room space. There were groups of people socializing in the atrium well after midnight and we could hear it quite well in the room. Now if you DIDN'T need the sofa bed and could just shut the bedroom door to the living room space, the beds were comfortable and it was about as quiet as a hotel can be that close to the airport. But the sofa bed is not useable. If you need them for sleeping space, this isn't the place for you. Keep looking

The omelet bar is outstanding, I had a big low carb and low salt breakfast that tasted great. I had a room with roll-in shower and it was the best shower I had in a long time. With the room, there are many things that could be updated. My biggest gripes are the door between rooms was missing causing privacy and sleep issues and no food or drinks on-site. The room I had is due for a remodel. The child we were taking to Schreiner's loved the hotel and so did I. I have stayed at several Embassy Suites across the country. This was not the best, but it still had that Embassy Suites charm. I will be back, but I want a nicer room. We are looking at many surgeries and follow-up visits at Schreiners. Maybe you could have a drink and food package for Schreiners guests.

Great location, very walkable to bars, restaurants, mall and conference center. Excellent free breakfast and bonus cocktail hour! Downside: kids slept on pullout in living room. Very loud with noise coming from hallway. Glass on doors didn’t block out light or silhouettes of everyone walking by all night. No way to block this. Would not stay again if needing to use that room to sleep.
