Best Western Plus Caldwell Inn & Suites

Liked the pool (yes parents, it’s actually warm enough to enjoy time w your kids).

Be careful booking here. I had everything correct to book on Expedia when I noticed underneath the name of hotel it said clothing optional. I was concerned so I called the hotel to see if that was the case. The lady I talked to said it was not and that they were a family hotel and that she was going to look into getting that changed immediately. When I went back to the app and clicked book it musta reset the page and the dates went back to the weekend of the 3rd-4. I didn’t notice and paid for the room. I noticed the following evening, 3 weeks before our stay, and reached out to Expedia. They contacted the hotel and after letting me know the hotel refused to change dates I also called the hotel and couldn’t get anywhere. So we got no refund. Such a money grab on their end. So gross. Read the reviews for here people. Sounds sketchy.

Would t allow me and my two small children stay because they have a 30 mile radius rule. Garbage

The staff treat you like family.

The staff (Destiny) was EXTREMELY rude. The hotel would not rent a room to our newlywed kids because they live within 30 miles of the hotel. They actually kicked them out of the room. The room and all expenses were paid for. The couple is inter-racial, my son in black. The staff and manager actually made them leave. They had to find a room at a different hotel.

This has always been our favorite hotel when we visit family. The room is always great along with cleanliness and neatness. BUT we have to say this time the room deodorizer is not good. The floral scent I’m our room was way too strong for us with allergies. I hope something can be done so we can come back again.

This hotel is extremely run down. When you turned the light on to enter the room the lights flickered and had to warm up to work.. Our carpet was heavily stained as if auto parts were being worked on in the room by the table. I made the kids keep socks on while in the room. The bathroom was horrible, someone had touched up the paint using a different color so there was weird paint lines all around the toilet and shower. The bathroom resembled a truck stop along an interstate. It had an old style twist light switch to turn on a heat bulb by the shower. Above the shower looked like mold on the ceiling. I somehow selected Dec 19th instead of Nov 19th for my stay. I caught in immediately after booking and still spent an hr on the line with Expedia trying to get the reservation moved up while standing in the lobby. Finally had to give up and pay for a second night.. if I would have known the room was that bad I would have booked somewhere else.

We have stayed at this facility several times with family. We noticed the new carpet and love it. The room is always comfortable and clean. We were very impressed with the 3-11 pm front desk gal. She was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. The pool was awesome and the hot tub was hot. Great hotel.
