Amazing facility, great staff, always attentive and great for families!

The staff were amazing as was our concierge, Sarah Williams. Margie at the front desk was also above and beyond. The only issues I had were the amount of families with very young children who were running around uncontrolled. Some even yelling and screaming. Very uncomfortable in the lobby, in the halls and dining. Additionally, there was a lady with her dog at the pool. Seriously? If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is not the place. But again the accommodations and service were amazing. The food was very good. And the views spectacular.

Very quiet and beautiful. Great for families with kids. Spa services were excellent too.

The service was mixed, and definitely NOT the Ritz Carlton Experience from their staff. The front desk, valet/bellmen were good. The staff at the pools and beach were below average. Beautiful property and great room set up for our family.

Honestly I was pretty surprised at how spotty the service was. Bell and valet folks were great, but check-in was a slow line, and it seemed like a lot of it was staff trying to upsell folks on club access. Also one morning my family went to the beach and the beach staff had no towels, they helplessly said they hadn’t arrived yet. Some guests made the quarter mile walk back to the hotel pool for towels but the staff didn’t just do that for everyone in general? Huh? A thousand bucks a night and you’re not going to make sure your guests have towels?

We enjoyed our 6 night stay very much. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Just be advised the hotel is pretty removed from the main areas of Maui. This made things quiet and peaceful but you definitely need a car to get around. We just usually walk alot to explore when we we are on vacation and sometimes we just want to grab simple, inexpensive meals so the location was a draw back for us. Also, the waves on the beach made it pretty treachorous. Not sure if it was just the time of year, but other beaches on the island were peaceful. Our daughter is a junior lifeguard and loved it, but I wouldn't have sent my 10 year old in the water at the beach. If you have small beach babies, this isn't the beach for you.

Check in was not great unfortunately.. no one helped us as we pulled up with our kids and by the time we got valet to help they then made it very clear that they expect a big tip (which we would of course give but it’s not nice to have it be expected); check in was ok except that we didn’t get the usual nice greeting w beverage and necklace because my husband and children were a few mins behind me checking in.. the front desk also wasn’t very helpful for suggestions and questions; however the food was amazing in all restaurants and room service, pool service was great and so were the cleaning crew and the property is gorgeous

Direction to the elevator isn’t clear, especially to the single elevator. My family walked back and forth for 30 minutes to find the single elevator to take to our floor. A female staff who works in the lobby even pointed to the wrong direction! Luckily we saw Nuti, he works at valet parking, he took us to the single elevator.
