The service was amazing. Everyone was wonderful and so welcoming. The rooms have been updated so they look nice and new. The room was super quiet and have really comfortable beds. The pools are full of kids splashing around, even around the pool bar, so if you’re looking for a nice relaxing pool experience, this hotel isn’t it. Everything is really overpriced, but I think that’s to be expected. I would say this property caters more to families than adults that are looking for rest and relaxation. Overall, it was a good experience.

I was nervous about the recent reviews in early July regarding recreational areas, pools & slides being closed due to construction. However, most of those were re-opened when my family and I stayed the last week of July. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the staff are so attentive and polite. It was everything I had imagined and more. It was a great experience as our first time staying in Maui. My kids and I did not want to leave after our 7 night stay. The Luau was a wonderful experience and the staff and performers were amazing. This is the first vacation that we can say we were satisfied with everything during our stay. One area for improvement is the price for mandatory valet parking. Nevertheless all the staff from the front desk, valet parking, Grand Luau, weekly activities instructor and dining staff were awesome. I live in Miami so their level of professionalism and warmness is refreshing. Mahalo!

Beautiful resort! Good location. Great for families with pools and activities. Spacious room. Good service. I wish more dinning options during our stay, however it’s still under construction. It will be a dreaming wedding facility after remodeling

The grounds were beautiful, and the accessibility to the beach was very convenient. The pools and water slides made it a huge plus for families. It is a great spot for families. So many turtles in the ocean by the hotel too!

Booked 3 nights for the last leg of our Hawaiian family vacation only to find out on arrival that the two reasons we booked this hotel were ruined. The water park was our biggest reason for booking which had the slides shut down, some we were informed since Covid. The second was a relaxing beach environment ruined not only by hotel construction, but construction at the pool side restaurant (which is still listed as open) resulting in no scape from the noise. The most infuriating part was the hotel staff, when explaining the slides were shut down, or restaurants shut down, spa shut down, or hotel construction said ‘Hopefully it will be better on your next visit’. This was my only visit, it cost us over $5k, and knowing any of this information up front we would have cancelled this portion of our trip and saved the money. They know that which is why they don’t warn you up front. Thank you for ruining the last half of my first family vacation in three years.

The hotel didn’t have any main restaurants open . The majority of slides were closed due to maintenance issues . The ones that were open had chipped paint and made it difficult for kids to slide down. Very disappointed because that’s why you book a stay here. The kids wanted to do the slides and enjoy dinners. It’s not very clean and the water was murky to . They closed some pools as well . Just not a good stay . They didn’t even offer any sort of olive branch either . I had to call manager and they offered free valet parking and no resort fees. I think they are out of touch with how badly the resort has been rundown and it needs a major overhaul . Even on top of what they are doing currently with rooms etc . This place isn’t worth the money . Not even close .

It is very grand and beautiful. It is family friendly, we enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the pools and service. There are fun slides and chairs to lounge around. They have food trucks and the beach is private.

Property is undergoing renovation. There was more noise than I would have preferred, but the newly renovated rooms were lovely. The pools and slides were great for kids but it would have been nice if they supplied the inner tubes for their lazy river instead of making guests have to buy them. The food was good but options were a little limited as far as variety. Overall it was a nice family resort.
