Fairmont Kea Lani Maui

The resort is amazing. The ground are beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed the sunsets from our lanai since the view is spectacular. We also enjoyed many of the restaurants in a hotel and the food was very tasty. My sons enjoyed the Mākana Market where they served delicious breakfast, pizza, açaí bowls and smoothies. I would highly recommend the resort to families since every room is a suite with small refrigerator and microwave. The property is newly renovated, so the rooms are very modern.

Wonderful place to visit with family

Be prepared not to get any sleep. The Fairmont has roosters all around the property that continually make loud noise. Even throughout the night you can hear the roosters from your room. We did not get any sleep at all. In addition to the roosters, the dining options are limited. Unless you like seafood, not much to choose from. The service at the pool restaurant was terrible and extremely overpriced. My daughter ordered a smoothie and it was never brought to our table. When the waitress brought our food we told her we never got the smoothie and to forget it. About 5 minutes later the waitress ends up bringing the smoothie to my daughter after I specifically told her to forget it. I was thinking she would comp the drink and she still charged us. We also ordered the kids Mac and Cheese which looked like it was leftovers from the day before. I would not allow my daughter to eat it, it truly was that bad. Nevertheless, we ended up paying our bill instead of complaining. But I promise you I won’t be back. Lastly, we prepaid the breakfast for me and my daughter who is 12 years old. I guess any kids older than 12 are charged a surcharge to order off the kids menu. Also, any kid over 12 is charged adult pricing for breakfast. Every morning at our breakfast. (Again this was prepaid) I had at least 3-4 workers ask how old my daughter was. I had to explain to them daily that she is only 12 years old. One time they decided my kid was over 12 and tried to charge her the adult rate.

Absolutely perfect! Thank you for making a beautiful memorable vacation for us! The 2 things I would highly recommend are one, to add a simple kids menu (simple burger, chicken nuggets and Mac n cheese) and more food choices for people w fish allergy on the menu of the 2 main restaurants for dinner, that way we weren’t forced to go outside the hotel for dinner; and the other to improve the water pressure on the shower. Loved it! Second time staying at the fairmont with our family of 5 and room, location and property amenities were great. Pool and ocean access were perfect.

Beautiful property, rooms were clean and comfortable. Every room is a suite which is great for families. I wish they had a 2 queen option instead of 2 double beds. Food at the pool was below average but the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Overall, very nice but very expensive! It would be nice to get breakfast included for such an expensive room.

Beautiful hotel and great service. We were family of 5 and the room was big enough. It was very convenient to have all gears available for rent at the beach. The spa is amazing!

Beautiful property in a perfect location. Super clean and amenities galore. The suites are perfect for a family. Towels for pool and beach are provided, along with sunscreen, beach toys, snorkeling gear for kids, Towels for day trips are provided from valet. 10/10

Loved the Fairmont for our recent trip to Maui. We were a family of 5 (3 kids) and liked the fact we could book one room to accommodate us all with convenient access to the pools and beach. The resort had great activities that the kids loved.
