Baymont Inn & Suites Calhoun

I found overall the room was clean and comfortable. Climate control worked well and there were updates to the bathroom and decor although not a complete renovation. The check-in person was very polite & personable. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. There were a few finer points of cleanliness that could be improved on. There was a child's handprint on the interior wall mirror left by a white, milky substance. That was easily noticeable and should've been cleaned previous to my arrival. The TV took forever to change channels and home in on a signal. Therefore scrolling through the offerings took a ridiculous amount of time. The "breakfast" offering however was abysmal. A few pre-packaged items and 3 basic cereals from a dispenser as well as a few yogurt flavor choices.

My family just stopped for a night, but everything was perfect. We got great service and the room was very nice and clean with everything we needed.

Book this hotel for family. Check-in was easy and fast for them.

it's good for families o just wish they would fix that pool the rooms are nice and everything it's clean

Stayed here based on reviews and the ratings, pricing, and location mainly. We were so dissatisfied. Our first room had mold all around tub, our phone wasn’t working so had to go to front desk. Got new keys, went to that room and keys didn’t work. Had to go to desk again and come into new room and 3 of the outlets don’t work. It was a struggle with 2 kids under 3.

Very nice hotel for money. Our family stayed in a two bedroom suite with a foldout couch. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom seemed small and the TV was off on the channel list but that’s starting to just nick-pick. Overall it was a great stay.

We left our laptop in the room! The kids had it under the sofa bed. The staff found it, turned it in to Mgmt, Mgmt called me but we were too far away to drive back. They took it and helped us ship it home to us. Above and Beyond!! Great place to stay because people like these own and run the hotel.

They are always cleaning, Great motel. Employees great. I was at breakfast for coffee early every day. My only suggestion, is that , especially on weekends, the extend breakfast hours until 10. I saw lots of families with small children, look for food. Otherwise, it was a great stay. I was there for a softball tournament in Dalton, Ga. I wish all motels were this clean

We have stayed at this hotel for the last 5 years on our way to our spring break trip to Florida. This was the first time we have been disappointed. The bedding had stains. The chair in the room had stains so bad I wouldn't allow my family to sit on it. The breakfast was very disappointing as well. We will be finding a new place to stay on our way home and from years to come. It used to be a nice, quiet, clean hotel.

Booked this room as a means to sleep and stretch on our way to another destination. Only good thing was the beds were comfortable. The pool was closed even though hotels.com did not reveal that. There was a nasty smell in the hall and the front desk person was very rude. If all you want to do is sleep here, it's fine. Otherwise if you need to let the kids play and get energy out, find somewhere else!
