Comfort Suites Augusta Riverwatch

We were in town overnight to spend some time with the family. Since arriving the front desk was great and very helpful. The room was very clean and the comfort was awesome.

Great staff and pretty good hotel. The room is a bit tight for a family but definitely has everything you need. Would’ve appreciated some extra pillows or blankets for the pull out sofa but we made it work with the ones from the queen beds.

Great hotel that is centrally located. Room was like new and bed was comfy. Great for families.

When I checked in for starters there was a bug in the room near the fridge . Also , my fridge didn’t work and the young lady told me someone would be up the next day to fix it but I could not risk the kids stuff not being refrigerated and going bad so I fixed it myself . After that , we tried to grill by the pool . When I booked our reservation it said the grill was an amenity which is why I don’t understand why the grill didn’t even have a propane tank hooked up to it nor did it even work . So I spent 70$ on food for my kids and ended up having to get rid of it . To make matters worse our air conditioner unit leaked water everytime we used it and ended up soaking the entire carpet area by the bed to the right . We were switched to a different room but by time this happened we only had one more night to endure . So we get moved to 212 and for our first 5-8 hours in there the air wouldn’t work at all and it was like a sauna in the room . It was so hot I had to use our shoes to hold the room door open .. even with it turned all the way to 60 it blew hot air for over 8 hours & eventually in the middle of the night around 2 am it began working after I had already gone to the front desk to get a fan for us . This was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel and I am surprised I even had issues considering the rating the hotel has . I won’t be back to visit this property
