Best Western Plus Sebastian Hotel & Suites

Good time with family. Hotel was great

Our first room was on a floor which wreaked with must/mildew, and the carpet was sticky (I don't walk in shoes in my hotel rooms as when I'm home). When I told the front desk, she seemed to know there was a water damage issue so she put us on another floor which still stunk but wasn't as intense. I had 2 small kids with me, plus an infant so I didn't want to deal with the back and forth. I realized the entire hotel is terrible and there's no point to keep changing rooms. Our 2nd room's carpet was also filthy and sticky so I kept my shoes on and made sure the kids did too. I couldn't let my baby crawl. There were dead baby roaches stuck on the wall, right behind our heads at the headboard of the bed. At night when going to the bathroom and turning the lights on, I had to be careful where I was stepping because roaches were scattered all over. I was so skeeved out that I dreaded going back to the hotel at the end of everyday (stayed for 3 nights). There were no other options in the area so I was stuck. I told the front desk and they said they'd speak to someone, but I never heard back from anyone. She seemed to care less and even had me wait 20 minutes just to talk to me. Absolutely no attempt to compensate in any way and make it right. It was one of the most uncomfortable and disgusting stays I've had. I'll NEVER go back, and will definitely WARN everyone.

The property was clean, the breakfast was very good, specially Shannon, the attendant. She was always refilling the serving containers and cleaning around the area. The beds were comfortable and there was no outside noise from the road. However, the toilet was so tiny it was better suited for an infant!. Best Western, in their infinite wisdom wanted us to check in online days before we were supposed to be there. I did not do it because they wanted a copy of my driver's license to be scanned and sent to them. I even called headquarters and they did not know of those practices. Then, when it was time to check out, again, they wanted for me to tell them in a message when we were leaving (checking out). I did not check out online simply because I did not know the exact time!!.. While checking in the person that was missing at the front desk appeared and she was not nice at all, very unfriendly. Customer service at that point was awful. We did not appreciate that. She did not even informed us that there was breakfast from 6 AM or the location of the breakfast area (I had to ask). For the check out, this woman came out of their office to the front desk reluctantly and did not say one word. She was obviously not happy and it was pretty noticeable we were disturbing her. Since we noticed we had troubled her, I only said "I am checking out with you because I like human contact" and left at that. Very poor customer service. The hotel does not deserve this kind of people working there.

Clean, excellent staff and facilities. Enjoy the time there with my family. Would definitely recommend for families.

We had a great time and relaxing. Only problem was there was a family reunion, and it was noisy. Did not get to sleep until it was around 12:30 to 1:00 am

Honestly not bad at all. I stayed with my family and my dog. It’s was easy to check in and check out. Due to COVID , we couldn’t enjoy a full hot breakfast. They offered a small bag with a fruit water and breakfast bars. Mirrors in my room were smudgy, like dirty. Beds were very comfy. My parents had a separate room that had a full kitchen but it’s didn’t have eating utensils and only one Spatula to cook. And a dirty pan in the oven. No dish soap or dishwasher soap. So that was unfortunate. Other than that , it wasn’t bad. It’s only about 15 mins from beach and many breweries near by. Plenty of restaurants or fast food near by. Some staff was friendlier than others.

Check in was easy and room was ready per my request for an early check. Front desk person was awesome, I believe her name was Valeria. Hot breakfast buffet was great. The only complaint about that was there were no tables for a family of 5. Bathroom amenities....shampoo, conditioner and body lotion were so small only one person could use them. But overall a great experience.
