Homewood Suites West Palm Beach

This hotel was great. Me, my husband and two kids stayed here in one of their suites for 3 nights while visiting in law during the New Years Holiday. Easy check in and check out. We will be staying again in the near future.their

The property was in decent condition, probably great for a family who needs a stay considering the suite that you get. It was a little outdated and could use some little touch-ups but it worked.

This hotel is nice, but don't choose it for the "perks." We were so excited about the "all-inclusive" nature for our vacation: meals provided and open bar! In reality this is a continental breakfast over by 9am everyday and a themed dinner from 5-7. Themes were like "nacho night", meaning there were a bunch of chips out and a vat of nacho cheese and 4-5 toppings. That was the entire "dinner". The "open bar" included a tap of domestic beer and a few open bottles of wine you can help yourself to. Again, this would be great for families (and there were LOTS of them) or business people trying to pocket their per diem, but it did NOT serve us well as people on vacation. As for the room, the floor plan was nice and spacious, the kitchen is generous, but our bed was broken and made a very loud noice everytime we sat or got in at the foot of the bed. Also the shower door was broken and the water pressure was nonexistent, and the shower NEVER got hot the whole trip. Warm? Yes. Hot? No way. The final issue was our last day. We requested late checkout (1pm) Friday, as we wanted to sleep in after a late Thursday night out. The housekeeper knocked on our door at 9am to clean it. We woke up and shouted "no" and "occupied" and she still walked right in. I called down and clarified we'd be here until 1. AGAIN at 11am the housekeeper did the same thing and walked in after we said no! We were sleeping so this was VERY frustrating. Finally, the walls are paper thin and we heard EVERYTHING.
