Great resort. Very family friendly (lots of kids) but also provides an adults-only pool. Good restaurant options. We liked our room though we had no view.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room service was excellent. Felt very safe there. I am an early riser (5:30 - 6 AM) and I would sit at a table in the large beautiful lobby to work and I was always greeted by a staff member who offered to get me coffee. all very sweet and lovely people working there. It is a dog friendly hotel and I never saw any "accidents" anywhere. There is a family pool and the adult pool is smartly situated away from the family pool where it is a calmer atmosphere. Poolside service is excellent with terrific staff.

We had the most wonderful stay celebrating our babymoon. We were showered with free gifts, upgrades and celebration from the staff. The hotel and amenities were first class. Can’t wait to visit again!

This is a gorgeous hotel with a beautiful lobby. Unfortunately, there is basically no beach, which is not the hotel's fault, but does impact the experience, if you are looking for a beach experience. The waves almost touch the hotel bulk head so there is no walking on the beach, siting on the beach etc. The some of the team are pleasant but definitely seem bothered to do their jobs and have poor attitudes. The gym is very small with almost no access. The team members working in the spa are borderline rude. The restaurants are of but nothing special. The beds are so hard as my family members who prefer hard beds were even miserable. I would definitely not return.

Honestly, the resort is beautiful. The view, pool, and spa are amazing. I was disappointed with how we were treated by many of the women staff. We were ignored and many times asked if we were staying at the hotel. Just because we are not rich, does not give people the right to treat us or look at us the way they did. My family worked hard to be able to stay at the EAU and it would have been nice to be treated like everyone else. In the beginning, we were given the wrong room. Management was great and Gabriel at the Stir bar was amazing! We were there for a whole week and half the time felt as if we didn't belong there. Waste of 3000 plus dollars.

I booked this resort for my Honeymoon, under the former name Ritz Carlton, and upon my arrival I was informed it was no longer a Ritz Carlton, but it was now Eau Palm Resort and Spa. I wasn't too pleased the ownership changed names and I wasn't informed. After checking in the bellhop took us to the room the front desk lady gave us. When we get there we discovered someone else was already staying in the room. After about 15 mins of waiting they finally found a room for us. The room itself was nice. You can hear everything going on in the rooms next to you, and above you. We had two incidents where the cleaning people walked in on us. Once when I was getting in the shower and the 2nd time she walked in on my wife topless. She said she was there to clean the room for someone else. I took that as meaning they didn't know we were staying in the room. I called the front desk and complained and was told a manager would contact me, but never heard from one. One other small complaint is about the pools and beach area. There is one fairly large family pool and one "Adult" pool (18+). The adult pool was never monitored. There were little kids and teenagers in it everyday. The beach area isn't monitored either. It is right next to a public beach area and the people in the area would migrated into the private beach area everyday. The other reasons I would not recommend the resort is the price of food and drinks are outrageous. The 2nd is the surrounding area is rundown and abandoned.

Loved the feel of the resort. Traveled with my 4.5 y.o and husband joined part way thru. The restaurants were great. Fresh big salads and clean entrees. Also good kids menu that I could order from anywheres in the hotel. We left once to go to the John G's breakfast place highly recommended across the street. It was a huge disappointment, should have stated at the hotel. The second time we left was to go to dune deck- beautiful ocean but food wasn't special and ended up being the same prices -should have stayed at the ritz. The only drawback was that the pool isn't a huge resort pool. For this stay there was enough room but it gets a little crowded. The beach is very narrow so not the most luxurious for sitting out. We loved- the staff, the lobby restaurant ( you could order the bites or off any menu, the fresh salads and meals, relaxing!
