Hyatt Place Tampa/Wesley Chapel

Our stay was great! The staff was amazing. I would recommend my friends and family.

Property was great but unfortunately stay was perhaps the worst in terms of noise with no one at hotel taking accountability. Banging on my door at 1am - reported noise in hallway and room next door. Told some hockey team was onsite - no options then a fire alarm pulled waking me up at 8ish am. They need security or mgr to curtail the noise so other guests can enjoy their stay - kids sitting on the floor in the hallway. Would hesitate to return as it’s obvious staff don’t take responsibility and accountability.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while visiting our daughter for friends & family weekend at USF. It was very safe and clean, as well as quiet. Convenient location just off the highway and adjacent to shopping and restaurants in a nice area. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was an added perk! Definitely planning on booking here again.

The property itself was okay, but it was the staff that made our rating poor. When we got there, and tried to check in they said we were too young even tho we checked beforehand what the minimum age requirement and we were above the requirement. I confirmed over the phone ahead of time at that exact hotel. The employee at the counter wasn’t able to check us in and when we asked for the manager she was unhelpful and rude. As you could probably understand we were upset about the whole situation but she was extremely condescending and talked to us as if we were children not adults. She had to call two managers above her and she was unfamiliar with her own hotel policy. After 15 minutes of trying to check in we were finally able to check in and did not receive any compensation or discount for our inconvenience. When we got to the room, there was a pile of hair on the bathroom floor. We have stayed at other Hyatt’s before and had a good experience, so hopeful it was just this one hyatt that was bad.

Very clean, friendly staff. It’s close to major shopping areas and restaurants. Great for family.

Hyatt place is our family hotel for vacations. This facility did not disappoint at all.

This is our Tampa hotel, it’s close to family and Premier Shops. Time here was too short but great stay.

This is our go to when visiting family. Clean is our top priority. And great location.

The breakfast service ended prior to 9, as in they were cleaning it as I was preparing breakfast for my kids. Coffee should be available all day. Beds super squishy, bad support. Convenient to food and overall clean.
