Everyone was amazing and room was perfect! The loud music in the evenings was a blast but having a small child it was alittle too loud when when going to bed.

Arrived at 10pm pool open kids and adults in pool. Pool says closed at dusk! The tiki bar and pool seems to open to the public and was packed with neighborhood crowed. People were totally loaded. Noise was beyond loud and goes on till 2am. 5 cop cars, ambulance and fire truck arrived when we were trying to find the parking area. Drunk guy falling down drunk. Room...Floor was beyond filthy, pillows need to be replaced and the cover on the bed was so bad it felt like sand paper. Furnishings need replacing it looked as though they got everything at the second hand store and was dirty. Dirty sofa, headboard, kitchen table, some tiny dresser. All nasty. Never used the shower. Would not stay again.

I realize that this place was devastated by a hurricane a year and a half ago. But not fixing the elevator and having to walk up to the 3rd floor isn't good. If you are a party person, this place is for you! If you want to sleep or you have children that want to sleep, this is not your hotel. They have live music in the center of the hotel until about 11or 12, then their Tiki Bar is open until 2am! On the positive side, they have free parking and they are close to the beach.

While this may be okay for someone in their 20s, its definitely not for your 30s with 3 small children. Pool area was alright but they put us right next to the tiki bar- which normally would be fun but not with kids at 1 am. Then the dumpster pickup at 530 am, the floors were so dirty, our feet were black- the vents were hairy. I was told that i needed to notify maintenence and cleaning staff- no i came to the front desk. Cleaning staff only comes every 3 days which we did not know until we received an email during our flight but didnt actually read until we got to hotel. Our toilet was running so loud it sounded like a faucet was on.

The hotel is ok but the loud music and noise from the bar kept our family up until past midnight. Not what we expected.

Unsupervised children in the pool swinging water noodles while their parents were at the bar. Only hotel guests should have access to the pool.

Our stay at Lighthouse proved to be very fun. Our room was located above the Tiki Bar that had live music every night of our week long stay. Roughly till 10/11 on the weeknights and 12 on weekends Friday/Saturday. We could sit at our table on the shared balcony/passage way to other rooms and listen to the music with out having to go down to the bar. If you like music like my family does this was great. It was loud enough to hear in the room with door and windows shut, so this location would not be for everyone. Everything worked as it should in the room and the rooms had everything we needed for our stay, coffee maker, microwave full size fridge. The two bedrooms each had a ceiling fan which kept the whole room area cool, it was in the mid 80s during our stay and our room got some direct afternoon sun. The food in the tiki bar, was very good, with enough variety to satisfy the teens and adults. We did not use the pool as the beach is right across the street. The room accommodations are not perfect and a little worn but we expect that at a beach side hotel like the lighthouse. Over all we were very pleased with our stay, service and amenities provided for the reasonable nightly price. We are making plans to go back next year.

Property is non stop party. Not optimal for families or those looking for a quiet getaway. Would have been a great location for us 20 years ago prior to kids!
