Lani Kai Beachfront Resort

At 9:30 am we went to have breakfast on the 6th floor in the hotel. minutes before we left the suitcases in the car; leaving the food and milk of our 9-month-old baby in the room. Once we went through the room at 10:30 to get the baby's food, they had already finished cleaning the entire room and they threw away the baby's food because, according to the woman who was cleaning, she said that we had already entered the room; whose room we could have until 11 am…. We called a hotel supervisor and unfortunately she did not solve any problem for us either. And we ran out of food for our baby… It was the first and last time we rented in that hotel. What a disappointment.

My family and i stayed in a 1 bedroom beachfront suite. The view of the beach was amazing. The property is older but we didn't mind.Unfortunately the ac in the living room didn't work well so they put a dehumidifier in the living room to help cool the room. We had to empty the water from the machine every few hours or it would shut off and start beeping. The bathroom ceiling was rusting and shower faucet was about to come apart from the wall. When it rained in the afternoon, like every afternoon in florida, the bathroom and master bedroom ceiling started leaking brown water. Maintenance came by to patch it up but it kept leaking. Meanwhile we were unable to get maid service. The 3rd and 4th of July were very crowded on the beach, which was expected. But in the evening a fight broke out in the lobby,police were there. Then a couple were outside our room having sex, bumping into our door. When my husband called the front desk to complain the manager started yelling at him and was very rude. We have young children and had no idea this hotel was like this! The day we checked out the owners son did apologize and tried to make things right. I will not be staying here with my young family again.

Beautiful beach front view from room. Beds a little creaky but comfortable. Hotel was a bit dated but very comfortable with good air conditioning. Easy parking, walking distance to pier and Oceanside restaurants and shops. Beach was not crowded, soft beautiful sand with clear warm ocean water. Staff friendly, allowing a very early check in since room was available. Several restaurants on site with good happy hour pricing and live music. Only thing I noticed was some outside noice (music, car alarms, garbage truck, etc) but it didn’t keep me from having a good night sleep. I would definitely return again, had a great stay with my family.
