The Happy Hour had great variety and great prices. Corey was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the neighborhood and services available to guests. He gave fantastic recommendations to our family. Guest Services was also ready to accommodate us when we arrived earlier in the day than we anticipated.

Very helpful front desk staff. Clean rooms. Our room was by the stairs and the electrical room. There was a very loud humming noise but we were too tired to move.
We have a very rude and unhappy waitress in the dining room for breakfast and tried not to let it spoil the rest of our stay but it did set our day off on a bad start.
Overall the hotel was nice. 👍
We would definitely stay there again and refer them to family and friends.

Resort is pretty and clean, rooms are lovely, and pool is small but very clean and towels are plentiful. Overall the resort is relatively affordable so the catch is the location being in an undesirable area that may feel
Unsafe to some . No cafe, and hotel restaurant food was 2 stars at best, but pricey, so dining options are very limited during the day if you don’t want to leave the beach area. Umbrellas 30$ a day and only 2 chairs per room even if you are a family of 4. No beach service but wet Willie’s across the street will let you take slushies to go. If you arrive earlier than 4pm you have to pay 100$ to check in or wait until 4. We arrived at 10am and found it to be worth it but something to be aware of. Overall a comfortable stay, but would stay else where due to unavailability of dining options.

The room I booked off of hotels.com did not match the room we got at the hotel. It was supposed to be a master suite and the room I got was a junior suite. The room was supposed to have a walk in shower and be wheel chair accessible but was not. We also received dirty sheets one night after room service was supposed to change our sheets and clean the room.(picture below). I’m not really too disappointed with the hotel. More disappointed with hotels.com and misleading room selections.

Sean at the front desk was wonderful! He was very accommodating when my family had a rough travel day. All of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very nice and the view from our room was amazing. The surrounding area had several restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance as well.

The hotel staff was very friendly. Everything was clean. Some important things I wish I had realized sooner: only Valet parking is offered which is $51/night. Very minimal on street parking is around and requires you to pay every 4 hours. Two beach chairs are available for you to use but an umbrella is $30 more per day. It was my 9 year old son and I and ant times it did not feel very kid friendly - as if perhaps having a kid around was annoying to other guests. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

We ordered $60 room service for breakfast for two people, and it was not good. We requested a late checkout and then a woman (either guest/staff) walked into my room twice during this extended checkout period and while I was alone rocking my baby to sleep (and even though I had the do not disturb sign outside door). The management did refund my $75 late fee in exchange for this intrusion, but it doesn’t change the fact that there is either something wrong with their door lock mechanism or failure of communication amongst staff. Very scary, and luckily I had family staying nearby to come over so they could make sure no other intrusions happened.

We are very happy with our stay, considering our cost . We're a family w/ a 3 and 1 year old. Sonesta provided a crib which fit perfectly in the closet w/ the door open, which was helpful b/c it was out of the way, a little darker, and a little quieter in there. We did bring a sound machine because you can hear some of what goes on in the other rooms. Our room came with 2 beds, numerous towels, a Keurig with 4 k-cups and cups. The hotel pool area was nice, where you can get 2 beach towels with each room (with the $45 daily rate fee), and exchange them for fresh ones as needed. The beach area is right across the street.. 2 lounge chairs are included in the daily rate fee and you can rent an umbrella for $25 which we did a few times because of the kids. There was a pizza place which sold by the slices (cash only) right at corner. There are a few restaurants really close like Steelpan (in the hotel) where we went for a really good breakfast. There is a Aqua Mediterranean restaurant across the street which had great breakfast sandwiches and coffee, and an ice cream shop right behind Sonesta with homemade ice cream. El Taquito mexican restaurant right beside the hotel. We would typically walk down the street 10-15 minutes for some nicer restaurants for dinner, including Case del Mare and Casablanca. We also walked to Village Cafe for breakfast. There is also a liquor store right across the street where we could get large bottle of waters for the room. There is a parking fee.
