Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs

The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a nice quiet stay. There is ample parking and they have food for purchase. The beds are super comfy and soft bedding. We will return again for another visit and to sightsee Orlando in the near future. This was a move in trip for a family member.

I was very disappointed that the staff denied my family the continental breakfast on the premise we used a third party app to book the room. That's not what was advertised or explained during check-in.

My least favorite thing about my stay was that they do not offer breakfast and the cafe downstairs is unappealing and over priced. The pool is right next to I4 highway and was small, unimpressive, and overcrowded with kids. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, but overall not up to the level one would expect from a Hilton.

Email i sent to the hotel and received zero response: Hi wanted to reply before I place a review on the website. We stayed at your hotel in room 428, last night and wanted to share. We were unable to sleep because of the A/C sound when it turns on and off. I set the thermostat to 70 degrees. Every 10-15 mins the AC turned on and off. When it did the sound was so loud and sounded like someone cocking a shotgun everytime. Imagine trying to fall asleep in a different place and thinking someone is coming in cocking a shotgun every 10-15 mins!!! Also, the shower pressure is waaaay to high. The water takes off your skin! I love good water pressure but this is like being fire hosed! Our 10 yr old was literally pinned to the back wall. Anyway, please consider fixing these issues. We paid too much for one night to not sleep and also have bad showers. Feel free to make this right and refund what you think is fair knowing that my wife and two kids had a really bad night at your hotel and this changed my opinion about what a Hilton is supposed to be.

I was not happy with the fact that they had children banging on my room door both nights that I stayed there. I had to call the front desk and I guess they sent the security guard up to my floor. I stayed here during my honeymoon and was disappointed they couldn't get the other guests under control. Nothing was offered to me and my husband because of this.

The hotel staff wete friendly, kida vague with info and we had to ask where our room was located in hotel. The room was clean and no bugs. But had a empty shampoo bottle and no toilet paper in toom. Amd the tub water backed up while taking a shower. No free breakfast or anything aside from room rental. A bit costly for what was givin to us, for only an 18 hour stay , late check in at4pm and a check out by 11am. The Holiday inn has more to offer for a better price. And the beds at this hotel are hard to sleep on.

From the time I checked in there was an over crowd of young children and teenagers unaccompanied that were running up and down the lobby, the floor I was staying on. These kids were unruly, knocking on the doors and when you answer the door they would run away. Hardly anyone was picking up the front desk phone to answer the phone when trying to complain about the situation. I’m pretty sure there was some sort of sporting event for kids/teenagers however it was really unfair to people who are paying full rate to stay at this hotel. I did not enjoy my stay and dreaded having to leave my room to take the elevator because these kids/teenagers were everywhere in the building just hanging out! I’m disappointed and feel like I spent my money at a place that felt like I was in the streets. Highly disappointed and sad.

Everything was great with our stay except for being able to have a late check out. Traveling with an infant is hard so a little extra time would’ve been nice. But overall good.

We often stay here when visiting family in the Orlando area. We like the location near shopping and good restaurants and right off I4. Hotel is well maintained and staff are friendly. The onsite restaurant and bar is good if you want on-premises options. A bit pricey but tasty.

I was in town visiting. Although close to family, the Hilton in Altamonte Springs, was a bit disappointing. My room was decent. However, it could use a good dusting and thorough carpet cleanse. What really made me frustrated was the bathroom. The toilet tank water would not refill after flushing. So, one would have to take the top off and tinker with the valve controls to get it going after every other flush. After alerting the front desk on multiple occasions, I was given false promises of a speedy repair. No one came. I accepted the shun and moved on. I figured I’d ask for at least a few extra towels as a consolation but didn’t receive additional ones until the near end of my stay. When I advised the front desk of my concerns, I was given a false gesture of surprise, and a happy wave of so long, sucker. Thanks for the reality check Hilton.
