Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando-Maitland

Loved the rooms. We had a mini kitchen which was great. Great bathrooms, awesome vanity lighting. Comfy beds. My kids and I had a very nice stay. Included breakfast was yummy with tons of options. Great coffee, too....(which is a big plus for me)

The person checking us in very unfriendly like she said the right things but it was like it was forced out. This location my family is comparing to the Orlando one on international dr. The carpets looked spot cleaned. The comforter had I think dirt stains, and bathroom the side top edge was dirty I cleaned before using. The breakfast was disgusting. The other location was very good more choices offered. No afternoon reception like other location that’s 20 minutes away!

My family and I had a great stay. No complaints. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a floor room by the pool and it was still nice and quiet.

It served its purpose, just a place to sleep. Room was clean, but halls and elevator not so much. Stayed during summer so lots of loud kids screaming and running through the halls. Floors in elevators constantly wet from people not drying feet after leaving the pool. Walls are super thin so you hear everything. Really long corridors but not enough elevators so it’s a long walk to your room depending on where it is. After a long day of working, I needed peace and quiet more than anything and it just didn’t happen, especially with the frogs making loud noises outside. Won’t be staying here again.

A member of our family found dried feces on a towel hanging on the clean towel rack. This towel was used before it was discovered by them. This is completely unsanitary and disgusting. This was reported to the front desk manager. We were told three different times they were passing it on to the General Manager and she would be calling us. We were there 3 days after this happened and never received a call.

Got charged $32 more than the confirmation. Then got hit with $8 parking. Found a kids hat at the end of the bed that wasnt ours. Long black hairs on the toilet when were all blondes. Bed was comfortable and water pressure was good in the shower but that was about it. Breakfast was also decent. If there was a room available elsewhere last night we would've gone.

Staff are very friendly. Pool was to cold for the kids to use.

I usually look at guest reviews when booking and this 9.2 rating was quite incorrect and misleading.Max is 6/10 and I have been to quite a few Orlando hotels. Choose another location. This is out of the way and not close to anything.. Furniture stained, dingy and dirty. Cracks in bathroom .wall... Suite is small so if travelling with kids and using the fold out couch there is barely any room to move around. Carpet soaked and flooded the day before we were due to leave so we had to move our bags and checked out early. Random charges post checkout on my credit card with no bill sent from the hotel and no explanation.There is a parking fee per night so that's not free. Breakfast not worth mentioning. Full stop. Tried to make the best of it but was terribly disappointed as my other Homewood suites experience elsewhere was good. Was duped by guest ratings so my humble honest suggestion just book elsewhere.
