Hyatt House Lewes/Rehoboth Beach

Extremely loud equipment. It sounds like a construction zone in the hotel, even at night and during sleeping hours: it ruined our short family vacation.

My family really enjoyed our stay! The property is clean and everyone was so friendly. The pool was our favorite place, it never got too crowded and my children got to do a lot ofnswiming.

Great place to stay for families with young children. The kids love the breakfast, the pool, and the games in the common area. The housekeeping staff went above and beyond to make the room special for the kids, making cute scenes with their stuffed animals to make it look like the stuffed animals had been playing while we were out. Kids loved it. With its location right on the main strip through town, it's fairly close to anything you'd want to do (20 minutes to beach with traffic, many restaurants, amusements, and shops within 2 miles). The staff was super friendly, professional, and accommodating. We added an extra night stay and they matched the hotels.com price, and let us keep the same room, even though the hotel was near max capacity. We had a few other small requests pertaining to housekeeping, and they were on it. The room itself (double queen) was perfect. Plenty of functional space, great amenities for a traveling family. Breakfast had plenty of options, and there was always fresh coffee and citrus infused water in the Lobby. Didn't get to use the gym, but it looked like a great facility. Seriously, you can't go wrong with this hotel. Book it!

We enjoyed the huge lap pool which could accommodate multiple families. There were plenty of clean towels to dry off and they restocked them often. The free breakfast had a wide variety to choose from. The outdoor patio was nice and cozy, especially at night. The room was clean and the staff members were friendly. Overall, we loved our stay.

Very beautiful clean Hotel pool is amazing huge and great for kids. Outdoor area with real gas fire pit. We got the king efficiency big room has a great layout. My husband is disabled the best bathroom I have ever had for disability access! Hotel is on the main road right before all the shopping. Walgreens is just a walk away. Breakfast was great different options throughout the morning. Shout out the pool man who recommended Lewes beach not to far from the hotel. The drive was easy and the beach is on the sound so waves were not big. FYI just make sure you pay for parking where ever you go they were handing out tickets all the time.

Had a newborn and they went above and beyond to let us check in early.

So my family and I have stayed here at Hyatt House before and we really like it. It’s a cute small 4 floor hotel but man they have everything! Rooms with multiple beds, kitchens, pool, free parking and free daily breakfast! Real breakfast like potatoes, eggs and waffles…not just cereal and bagels. Our stay here this past Easter weekend was great! We just buried my mom on Tuesday and wanted to honor her memory by the beach. We will be back again during the early summer! Oh and Dana is a sweetheart! Lovely young lady with a great personality and attitude! She was amazing as the barmaid!

Very convenient location. Breakfast was good with different selections. Staff very friendly and helpful. We could hear kids playing and running in the hall outside our door and a baby crying in the room adjacent to ours at night, which is common in the hotels we’ve stayed in.

I went to this hotel with my family for a brief stay in Delaware. Everyone is super friendly and kind. The rooms were great and we will definitely be back. The pool and gym are amazing also. Cudos who hired the team at the Five points location. They are all true assets to the Hyatt name.

The hotel is fairly new and well kept. The pool is over chlorinated and really dried out the kids hair and skin. I read there were snacks but that was not a thing. No complementary coffee or anything in the lobby and the small coffee pot in the room was filthy. The biggest complaint was the location of the room. Room 307 was directly by the elevator. Every time someone rode the elevator the beds shook and when we were trying to sleep, our heads would vibrate. And it was constant. The location of the hotel is great. Conveniently located to the outlets, nice restuarants, and the beaches. Almost everyone was friendly. The kids had fun. So overall it was ok. I was just disappointed by the location of the room and the pool.
