Homewood Suites by Hilton-Hartford South-Glastonbury, CT

It was the holiday week- and one family booked one room- and had over 30 guests! From 9 am till 9pm! We had no breakfast because both mornings they were out! We couldn’t use the grills or outside amenities because of the huge party outside! Taking over both grills The pool And dining area! We called the front desk about it twice and nothing was done!

Property is as described rooms are clean. food options are in walking distance, which is very convenient, especially when traveling with small children.

We came with little kids and enjoyed our stay...too bad it was only for one night. I highly recommend it

We booked a 2 queen bed room and were given an ADA suite with 1 bed. My kids are younger so we used the pull out sofa, but the bedding bag was open and not clean. Staff were very fast and friendly to get us more bedding, though they did tell us they searched all over and it was the last available which made us feel like the request was a hardship for them. When I told the desk we had 2 beds reserved (clearly on the reservation) I was told I did not. This could be an issue as it was booked on expedia, but clearly my email showed what was booked.

Totally disappointed with this stay. When we got there to check in the desk clerk told us we had no room that they had overbooked. We reserved a king suite with a full kitchen living room with a pull out bed because there were 3 adults and an 7 year old child. It was 9:30 pm and we had been driving a long distance. They sent us to another hotel in the same town and when we got there and checked in the room had 1 queen sized bed. This was the only room they had available. They sent up a cot but that was all they could do. This was not a suite it was just a simple room and I got charged the same price that the king suite with a full kitchen, living room and complimentary breakfast. This hotel had a terrible breakfast and we had to pay for this. Beware of booking on expedia because the hotel blamed expedia for this mixup and said they were famous for doing this.

Not room we ordered. We’re told we’d get A 50 percent discount but cannot Get into receipt and was not given one. Was told pool open, it wasn’t. Disappointed 3 kids!

We have been staying at this hotel regularly for years when we visit family and friends. It is in critical need of a refresh. Nice staff, great location but the condition is deteriorating. This has been our go to hotel for the last six years since we moved away. Next time we may book a less convenient hotel that is in better condition.

This was a disappointing experience. The only reason i did not demand another room was because we did not spend much time in the room but once we returned to rest for the night, we sprayed out the place with air freshener but within moments the fishy stinky scent was back, it was horrible. The beds appeared as though they had been spread by kids or learners, i felt disgusted to even lay in them. oh, and the lock on the door was defective, now i kind of wish i had requested another room, because the scent made it difficult for me to fall asleep. I would never return to this hotel. I did give my feedback when i checked out, she said, she was sorry.

Family vacation. Room was not ready, waited 6 hrs for bedding for couch (3pm to 9 pm) staff is polite but Super disorganized Suite extraordinaries cramped when using sofa bed. I do not recommend this hotel for family travel

Unfortunately I had very loud neighbors and could hear them all night every night. It was a family with loud children and a loud TV that they left on. There were also signs that the rooms hadnt been vacuumed (bathroom floor and near the couch)… I stay here often. This is the first time I’ve ever had any issues. I still recommend the hotel and will return.
