Mountain Lodge Telluride

I took my mom to Telluride for the 4th of July. It was our first time visiting and I wasn’t sure where to book as I was unfamiliar with the area. We both loved the lodge. The location was great, we preferred being there vs where the other resorts were by far. We got a tiny room for the two of us. It was cozy and perfect for our needs. The walls were pretty thin, but nothing we haven’t experienced in our travels before and by no means is a reason to not give the lodge a good review. It was obvious many people staying around the 4th have been here time and time again. We see why. It’s family friendly, cozy and has everything you need within an acceptable distance. I loved having the valet parking, worth the cost, not to mention it’s common anymore for resorts to have fees for the service. We loved our time here and will certainly be back again, this time with a bigger crew. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic property and perfect for families with kids in the condo style units there is plenty of space.

The staff is horrible. There were a couple of people that were nice but the rest were not engraved at all. I received an email in the morning our room was ready. When we got there it was not. I was expecting a very important overnight package and was lied to repeatedly about them looking for it. They kept saying they would call me. I had to leave the Jazz concert and my family and go all the back to the hotel only to find out the person, Who told me they would find it and text me, had left for the day. It goes on and on. But was not a good experience for me.

Our stay at the Moutan Telluride was great! From staff to location everything was top notch. Loved having access to tram or gondola walk was close to hop on. We travel with two children so having washer / Dryer easily accessible was key . Would highly recommend to family and friends.

My family loved our room. Staff is wonderful. Bathroom is a little small. Parking is valet only, staff is great with this, but it would be nice to have easier access to your vehicle. Overall great lodge.

Hotel was overall an average stay. The first room we had was on the first floor and the balcony was open to the street. Morning deliveries backed right up to our patio doors. We ended up upgrading from a junior suite to a 2 bedroom and the location was much better. The two bedroom had so many moths dead and alive. The second bathroom seemed to have some mold on the shower floor. Cleanliness needs to be worked on. The bathrooms are very tight. You have to stand to the side of the toilet to shut the door.My husband is 6’3” and it was tight for him. The pool area is nice with the restaurant attached as well. We had both a lunch and dinner at the restaurant and thought the food was very good. All the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating. The location is beautiful and they offer a free shuttle to Mountain Village . If I were to visit the area again I would look at other options available as this did not blow me away.

Considering the expensive price, this was a huge disappointment. The room was clean but extremely cramped with walls so thin that we knew the names of the two children staying next door by the end of the night. The beds weren't comfortable and sagged in the middle, the toilet was very low to the ground, and there was practically no counterspace except for a small night table. Despite the hotel saying they had self-parking, we were forced to use valet since they had no spaces available. Parking is $20 per day. Definitely not worth how much we paid to stay here.
