Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sterling, an IHG Hotel

Fine overnight stay on family road trip. Clean, comfortable, welcoming. Would stay again.

Hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff was super friendly, breakfast was amazing and property was very clean. Only suggestion I would make would be some kind of traction on pool area floor. When wet floor get extremely slippery even just walking on it. My child fell a couple times.

The staff assisted multiple people who were not in the check out line before guests waiting to check in. A team of volleyball players came in 10 minutes after us and were knocking over furniture and loud and disrespectful and they were checked in before we were helped. The staff did apologize. We went to the pool and hot tub to relax before bed and we had booked the hotel because we wanted to be sure we had a spa while the kids swam. The spa was extremely cloudy, and the water level was low even below the jets so it was unable to be used. The staff again apologized.

Very well kept up hotel. The reception area was very clean. Room was spacious. A shout out to Mary at the desk upon our arrival. She was amazing. A bright smile after a long day on the road with a baby & a toddler😊

My family and I checking very late that night. Checking was smooth, however when we get to the room had very weird smell, coming from the carpet or something . The shower wasn’t clean. Had hair all over. Very dissatisfied for that hotel level / brand.
