Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Morgan

It wasn’t quiet at all!!!! I was up till two in the morning with the people above me walking around and making noise. Finally gave up at 1:35pm and called the front desk. I suggested if anyone who has kids need to be placed on the first floor. Last time I looked at the clock was 2 o’clock in the morning and finally quiet finally finally finally quiet.

Was a phenomenal stay. The staff went above and beyond for me and my family. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was great. All around amazing time!

The breakfast bar was pitiful in choices besides the beverages. All the chooses had jalapeños or green chilis in them and me or my child cant eat either of those and we are gluten free so had a peice of gluten free toast and took the sauasage patty off the biscuit. The pool was down due to vommit in the pool and gront desk said at least 3-5 days for that to be up again. Came down and asked for a fork and she said I'll have to get one in the morning, seemed kinda mad i even asked. Got 2 rooms asked them be close but ended up being on opposite ends of the hotel but on the same floor. Also had to change my reservation to one day instead of 2 and canceled on Wednesday for Friday and got charged a late fee of the cost of that night. It was 1014 on the Wednesday for my friday check in no reason i couldn't change my reservation with no charge.

Once we were checked in, it was great. However, a 45-minute check in was exhausting after driving for 12 hours. Was told that "the app" overbooked them. Without confirming whether I did, or did not, have a room - I was told the manager would come explain things & that she would be there "in a bit". After 30 minutes, she came down (from wherever) and went into her office. She did not acknowledge me. While she was in her office, a family of 5 was checked in quickly & efficiently. She came out of her office and checked in another gentleman. Still no acknowledgement of me. The clerk checked in a 3rd person. Clearly I was invisible. The manager said something to the clerk and walked away. I asked him what was going on and he said she was going to check if my room was "set up". She called the desk and finally, after 45 minutes, the clerk checked me in. The manager came down and apologized for my wait. Once I was finally in my room, everything was great. This is the 2nd time I've had issues checking in at a Fairfield Inn while using an app to book the room. Hmmm.

After a long day on the road, it was very nice to speak to Front desk staff, Kristen, who smiled, was pleasant, friendly and professional. Check in was quick and efficient. Kristen also helped to sign me up on the Marriott program - she left my Marriott membership card at my room door the following morning. Check out was quick and easy with the friendly front desk staff. The hotel is updated and comfortable. The room was a fair size for a family of 4. It was clean except for some visible spots on the night table surface which looked like liquid was spilled and wasn't wiped off. I wiped these off. Breakfast was more than adequate with waffles made to order. There was sausage & egg burrito, ham & egg and cheese biscuits, etc. The coffee was hot and they even have Stevia sweetener! Oberall, an excellent experience! Great value for your money! Highly recommend!
