Eagle River Lodge Vail Valley

The pool and hot tub were empty because of a broken pipe. We were traveling with two of our grandkids, ages 5 and 8, and they were really looking forward to swimming, so needless to say they were very disappointed. This hotel needs a lot of work. The furniture was all chipped and worn, the mattress was worn out, the shower had mold, and the sheets had what felt like sand in them like they’d been slept in before. For a $171.00 you expect a lot nicer place. I won’t be staying at Wyndham hotels again.

Hotel is being renovated and should not allow guests yet. Walked into a strong smell in lobby and stronger smell in our room. Bathtub recently refinished and walls repainted, slept with window open all night. How do you get out of a reservation placed with Expedia? I would of just walked out, but didn’t want to lose the money- which on a Saturday night was overpriced at $250. No coffee pot, horrible recliner in the corner, bathroom missing toilet paper holder- which no kidding- found at 2:00 am UNDER the fitted sheet. Just disgusting.

One of my kids got stuck in the elevator. The phone in the elevator never got answered. Luckily he got his cell phone to work and he called me. I called 911 and the fire dept rolled to let him out. Management didn't even come to talk to me or apologize. It was a crazy morning and there was no accountability there at all. We were there for a mountain bike race we ended up missing because of this hour delay!

Soòoo awful. I vant begin to say how bad this place is. Worst hotel ive ever been to. For the money i spent ? This hotel was sooooo bad ibwouldnt have paid more than $75 per night . The 2nd fl down elevator button was broke. Ypu had to pish the up button wait then push 1st fl. The desk clerk didnt care at all. The pool was so dirty. My family was afraid wed get some disease from the pool. The rooms are filthy. Bathroom walls ruined from water by the shower. Shower curtain was falling off the wall. Omg. This is just the beginning of my issues. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. It is that bad. I would sleep in my car if that was the only other option. Inwill be contacting corporate about this hotel.

Maybe try some sheets that actually fit the bed. Sheets and mattress pad both slid up all night long. And at checkout—a face in a kiosk? Way to lose the personal touch. And a face that was difficult to understand. We will be back to Eagle because we have family there. We WILL NOT be back to your hotel nor will we recommend you to other family and friends. The price of the room by far exceeds the value.

The jetted tub was amazing. Service was friendly. Very nice breakfast. We would stay there again and will recommend to my friends and family.

The check in was easy and friendly staff. The room was very hot though when you walk in middle of June it hits you and then the air conditioner is very old and didn’t get the room cooled off even being on all night. The room was very small so if you have multiple adults or kids with you it’s going to be cramped. If you just need a place to stay for the night it’s worth the price but if you plan on staying while on vacation I would pick another hotel.
