Holiday Inn Express & Suites Canon City, an IHG Hotel

The pool was great and the front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and even refilled the hot water reservoir for my children to have hot cocoa one afternoon.

Nice rooms, pool was good for the kiddos. Breakfast was good. Would stay again.

Loved the room, 2 king beds and a sofa and chair!! Had big size shampoo, conditioner and body gel in the shower and full size hand soap and lotion by the sink. We had 3 adults and 1 child and we were not crowded at all. Will definitely stay here again! Only complaint is that the pool was ice cold. For an indoor pool should be heated. Hot tub and sauna great and loved breakfast!!

This was a really nice hotel. Rooms where clean and beds where very comfy. Pool area was perfect for the kids.

I loved the hotel and property. Clean, new, friendly. I was EXTREMELY mad at Expedia. I paid in advance for my stay through Expedia. I got there to check in and Expedia's card was declined. (You pay expedia, then expedia pays the hotel). So even though I already paid, I had to contact Expedia and go through a 40 minute process on the phone with them to get them to pay the hotel so I could actually check in instead of spending Mother's Day with my family. Won't be using Expedia again. IHG will just match the lower rate if you call them directly.

Made reservation through hotel.com. Nowhere on the website or my confirmation says anything about service animals not allowed in hotel. Even Holiday Inn website did not say anything about no pets allowed. My service animal is my family member, which is in training for my PTSD.

This was a great stay at this hotel. Staff was excellent and took care of us well. Only one oversight to mention, on our last morning when we arrived for breakfast with the grandkids in tow, they had closed the kitchen early (before 9:30 on a Saturday) and our kids were so excited to get their ceral and were very disappointed when I had to explain they couldn't have their breakfast. I imagine it may have been closed early becase the previous day I saw people in a large party eating that I don't think were all staying at the hotel, so that may have been the reason, but they should have given us a warning or addressed the issue another way. But otherwise, everything was great!!! Will book again!!!

My family stay was amazing! Our room was spacious and had very modern amenities. Beds were comfortable and it was very clean. We will definitely be staying there again when we are in Canon City!!
