Unfortunately, the hotel did not have the room that we paid for. Could not give a time that we could check in for the room that we booked. We had to settle for a room that did not fit our family

We always stay at the renaissance & have the best experience. This trip we had to pay for our breakfast at the Flatz restaurant it was terrible every item on the buffet was cold. My husband ordered an omelette it came smelling spoiled. So at that point he lost his appetite. I told the waitress that I would like the charge to be removed. Come to find out at checkout she did not give anyone the information. Also they charged me for three adults when we clearly have a child. They did not fix that either. Not very happy at all with the service

We had to leave another hotel reservation because the room was dirty and smelled smokey. Little did we know how great of a decision that was - finding THIS HOTEL was AMAZING! From the welcoming smell in the lobby to homemade breakfast sandwiches at the Starbucks to the extremely quiet and clean room, my family (with teens) loved our stay! We also liked the details of lots of hooks in the room to hang towels, shopping bags, etc. Our kids enjoyed several changing ports too. We wish we could take this hotel to our next stop! We stayed 4 nights.

Hotel was good.Staff was great. The only thing I didn’t like is there was no microwave in the room.I had two kids with and i needed to warm up food or milk for them but they didn’t have any microwave in the room.I will recommend this hotel to everyone if you are travelling to boulder. Its new building and more convenient.

This was by far the worst experience in a motel in our lifetime. A motel 6 would have had a better bed. The bed felt like sleeping on a hard rock. The pillows were completely flat and we both got neck aches so badly that we left at 4am to go home and get a better night's sleep. When we checked in at 420pm, most rooms weren't ready, even with such a late check in time, that there were at least 10 to 15 families waiting in the bar for their rooms to be prepared. The entire experience was the worst I've ever had. Seriously, a Motel 6 would have been like a kings room compared to this place. Absolutely horrible experience...

Checked in to a suite with my family of 5 at 6pm and asked them to bring linens and pillows up for the pullout and a rollaway. Waited around for an hour and got nothing. Called and asked again. Went to dinner, came back around 9pm and still no linens. I call the desk again and he said housekeeping had left. So? Said he had sheets for the bed and a pillow if I wanted to come down and get them. Fine. Whatever. My kids needed to sleep so I went down. This room had been booked for months beforehand with 5 people staying in it! Figure it out! It’s not like we walked in that day looking for a room. Also, every time we went down to the lobby or got off the elevator there would be multiple bags of trash (McDonald’s takeout, random trash) sitting on the furniture right outside the elevators. I’m sure it was the guests leaving it, but it would sit there for hours and perhaps a bigger trash option in the ice machine room or somewhere would be helpful. As a side note, we booked this hotel to use the pool, but Weds and Thurs from 4-7 they have swim lessons booked there so you can only have half the pool (which is not that big) or not use it at all. We attempted to get some fruit and yogurt at the Starbucks inside one morning but the case with those things was locked and the worker didn’t have the key so that was a bust. There was a person staying in their camper in the parking lot. We saw them leaving the camper with multiple bags of trash and heading inside. I could go on.

The hotel was easy to find off the highway. The views from my room on the 6th floor facing the mountains were amazing. The staff was friendly and my room was clean. I only stayed two nights so I declined the cleaning service. I was visiting family in Boulder and had other family members staying in Boulder at a different property. The Renaissance is a much nicer property at a lower price than what they were paying and was only a 10 minute drive. I would definitely stay here again.
