Comfort Suites Woodland - Sacramento Airport

It's our second time here for a quick overnight visit with fam. Comfortable and spacious stay. Basic in room amenities. Clean and friendly staff. Welcoming stay and would recommend to friends and family. We'd stay again obviously.

Don’t get me wrong, we picked this hotel because it was more affordable but the new management sucks. There’s no early check in apparently due to the new managers rules. The sheets on both beds were dirty. We called down for new sheets and they said they had to see if they had any cleaning staff still there!? It took almost 2 hours and 4 calls to the front desk to finally get the sheets. They sat in front of our room for the rest of the day until staff finally picked them up. Same thing for the trash. We didn’t want room service for our 5 night stay. We would bag up our trash and leave in outside the door and it would sit there all day. There was a room that had food delivery that sat outside their door for almost 3 days. There was trash on the couch in the room which was clearly visible. Under the mirror in the sitting area we’re 4 massive screws sticking out of the wall. That really bugged me because how is that acceptable and safe? Had I came with a child I would have been very upset. Let’s not forget the business center. It’s a corner. Literally a corner when you walk directly into the front door. I needed to make a phone call and couldn’t because of the placement of the “center”. The cleaning lady has the loudest vacuum cleaner that I have ever heard in my life. She was steady vacuuming and banging the machine against the walls way too early in the morning. We were out late and were woken up by the sound and loud banging. Were coming back next yeah and won’t stay here.

I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room we received. The bathroom had a weird scent. There was leftover trash from the previous people who stayed there. There was also food crumbs left behind on the floor. Hair strands were found in the sheets. Cleanliness is a huge thing for me! Other than the cleanliness, it's an accommodating family hotel.

The only ding is the breakfast was a little disappointing. Mostly the coffee. It was a machine with various choices instead of fresh coffee. It was not good coffee from the machine. Simple breakfast plain bagels, childlike yogurt cups. All else was good but breakfast is a big deal for me as a traveler and it wasn’t comparable to other like hotels.

We choose this hotel b/c it is close to the airport. The hotel was clean and we had a very quiet stay. Some of the info for this hotel says they offer a shuttle to the airport but they do NOT. Fortunately, we had a car and were able to get our family member there but if you are not in that situation, you will need to make other arrangements. The area around the hotel has other hotels, convenience stores, and a few restaurants. You can walk to a few places but I would not call it walker friendly.

Clean and nice property. We had a King Suite with hide-a-bed for our kids. There were no sheets or blankets in the room for the hide-a-bed. Went to the front desk - she was able to find me a sheet set but said they were out of blankets. We had to layer up like three sheets to make a blanket for them. Not a huge deal just odd - she said the facility only has 5 extra blankets and she had already given them all out. Another odd thing was we asked when we first checked in if there’s a pool. The lady said “no, but I hear you can go to the hotel next door and just hang around the pool entrance and someone will let you in.” …… whaaaat?? Lol Not huge inconveniences. Aside from those couple odd things it was cleanly and the staff very nice. Fine for a pit stop stay.

Had a small family get together after celebration of life Front desk were awesome in helping us get pizza And let us set in the lobby until us old folks went to bed at 9 Comfort and clean

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was a great choice for my family and I to stay at for my niece’s wedding.

My wife and I stayed for a week visiting family. On the first day the elevator only worked for a couple of hours till it was under maintenance. For our entire stay. my wife is 7 months pregnant and gets tired out easily while walking, we stayed on the third floor. We constantly for a straight week has to take 6 flights of stairs just to get our room. I’ve asked we could switch rooms so it could be easier for my wife but the staff told me that the elevator was going to be done the next morning. That’s didn’t turn out to be the case, on top of that our rooms weren’t cleaned and were only given two bath towels. This hotel is only good for a one nighter maybe two but that’s it. Our stay was from 03/06 to 03/13.

When I checked in they almost had me pay for my room again because they thought my card had declined. The woman working the counter did not realize that I had booked through a third-party and therefore almost charged my card another $180. They then sent us to a room that only had one bed when I requested two. And then they had double booked that room so another family had a key to that room and tried entering around 2 AM
