Best Western Shadow Inn

I’ve stayed here many time in the past when visiting family, and it’s always been a decent hotel. However, its age is really starting to show because the inside just seem dated. While they replaced the beds and furniture since I last stayed. The rugs were horribly stained which brought in a yuck factor.The bathroom just looks old and not super clean. The tvs are super small and older nothing smart about them. Plus, the spas are now gone which was disappointing to find out. The pool was nice enjoyed a quick dip and like that they had towels outside for drying off. Breakfast was nothing special. They had all your basics, but lacked the proper condiments. I choose to have a bagel and then found out they didn’t have butter or cream cheese available. Overall I’d say it was just average. Safe, clean-ish , and quiet. 6/10

Room floor was very dirty, as soon as I walked around my legs were so dirty. Breakfast options were very limited. Place to sit was very very small. Pancake machine was broken but there was no note that it wasn't working. Kids were very disappointed and ended up having cereal. I had to take kids out for bagel. I will never visit this hotel.

With family, felt safe, and breakfast was great!

Would have been nice to know pool was close for maintenance before booking, usually a plus for my kids. Carpet could use a good cleaning.

We purchased 3 rooms and the bathrooms in all 3 rooms were dirty. Poop splatter on the underside lid of one of the toilets, long black hair in the tub, and urine drips on the floor. The pool was being renovated, so that was a disappointment to the grandkids.

Friendly nice staff, but the floors were filthy we had family rent a room as well and their floor was worse will visible stains

Room was not upto the mark and the carpet, chairs and bed sheet and towels wet all dirty. I asked the front desk manager to makes it clean but it was never done. The access card get deactivated automatically every. Night and I have to get them activated every time we returned from outside and getting the cards not working. I stayed with families and kid but was very disappointmentedz it looks more of a motel than hotel in my opinion.

Good selection for breakfast although the plates and bowls are styrofoam which they could find more ecological replacement. Receptionists were very welcoming. Clean and quiet. Close to freeway for convenience. I would choose to stay again when I am visiting family.

Nice place, receptionists were nice, I have to leave early for my kid's graduation at 6:30, she ran after us and give a breakfast. The room is new and super clean. Thank you.

It was easy to access from my sister's home in Davis. What was lacking was a non-skid pad in the bath tub when taking a shower. Also there was no bath mat so we had to fold up a bath towel to create one.
