Hampton Inn & Suites Watsonville

Always stay here when family is in town.

We came to Hampton Watsonville because of a school competition. The location was wonderful and so nice that there is a Starbucks and gas station right in front. We really enjoyed our stay. The only "complaint" (suggestion) is that the bathroom sliding door did not have a lock. We would of appreciated having the ability to lock the bathroom since we do have kids and using the restroom was not comfortable with the fear of our little one opening the door. Other than that we truly enjoyed this hotel and the nice breakfast provided.

I booked this stay and at my arrival the front desk person told me they were overbooked. At the time of my arrival. And they do not have a room for me and my family. This is unacceptable and I should have been notified when it was overbooked. I would like a FULL REFUND.

The hotel is perfect for families or if you are traveling alone. I had my kids and our small dog and the room was big enough for all four persons and the dog, not too cramp. Plus the pool was indoor and a gas station right next door for snacks!

Walking into the lobby, I was instantly greeted by the smell of dogs, very unpleasant. When I got to my room, I did not have a sofa bed and my bed was a queen size bed and not a king. Also, hair on the sink counter and shower walls, and little body wash left in the bottle in the bathroom. Not enough towels and washcloths in the room for my family and I, and the food for breakfast was not very good. Potatoes were dry, egg omelette was cold, no other meat options available other than pork sausage. I was told the rooms were sold out so I could not be given a new room and was offered a roll away bed instead. I also used the laundry facility and noticed a thick ring of dirt around and under the rubber cushion in the washing machine. Disgusting! If I wasn’t in need of washing clothes, I would have decided not to. In all, I feel quality and attention to detail is being sacrificed and causing experiences like mines!

The hotel was nice and clean, the two queen room and pullout sofa bed was roomy for our family of five. The breakfast buffet options were really good. We would stay here again when in the area.

Checkin and check out was a breeze, the lady at the counter was nice. We stayed on the 3rd floor smelled horrible (like smoke) until we walked in the room. Room was good, beds were comfy, pillows not so much, children stayed on the floor above us so it was loud until 1030, and yappy dogs next door, not the hotels fault, wish people had common courtesy…

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the highway and short drive to the beach. Starbucks is in the same parking lot so that is a perk for us. Continental breakfast is great especially with kids. We have stayed here at least 5 times and enjoy our stay every time.

It was very close to the beach and the restroom included large bottles of shampoo/shower wash/conditioner attached to shower! Great for families and tv entertainment for the kids. A bit pricey but really notice the quality.

OMG, this was the BEST hotel I found in the Watsonville area. We were there for a track meet. Easy check-in, the room was comfortable-beautifully decorated/ modern/clean, and the breakfast was delicious (lots of options- hot/cold options). The only thing I would suggest is to have a bath towel for every staying guest. We got 3 towels and there were 4 people. Not a deal breaker. Totally would stay here again & recommend to all our family/friends.
