Oxford Suites Redding

We have stayed here before. We love all the amenities for our family. Pool, snacks, bar service and accessibility were great. Sadly this time around the tv services was unavailable. Hope this gets fix soon.

Comfortable beds and pillows, clean room. It was a little noisy because there were so many kids during the stay , but its summer break. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Stayed a single night while on a family road trip. Overall happy with the hotel. Beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean.

My family was surprised that this hotel is really a very nice hotel. The breakfast surprisingly have an actual person cooking in front of you. Staff from check in to check out were all friendly.

We usually stay at a neighboring hotel on our way through Redding but this time, the price at Oxford was better so we tried it out and I am not looking back! Our stay was great. Fresh cookies upon entry and at the end of the night, a complimentary drink in the evenings along with appetizers that you can sit poolside with. A decent size pool and hot tub that the kids AND adults were pleased with. We ended up with a suite so 2 queens and a sitting area (with a sliding door) which was lovely as the kids could still sleep while I could get some work done without disturbing them. We are about to head down to breakfast so I can’t quite speak to it yet but if it was anything like the other reviewers have mentioned and like their appetizer spread, I’m not worried! The only downsides: 1. The beds are super soft (most people love that but I like a firmer bed) 2. There isn’t a restaurant associated with it so when you are traveling with little kids, we picked up dinner on our way to check in so we didn’t have to get back in the car or walk. That being said, there are a lot of options in the area but in 99 degrees heat, I didn’t feel like tackling that with two little ones. All and all, this place was clean, service was friendly, pool was a hit and rooms were great. Will definitely be back!

I don’t know why it is that when you check in with Expedia, they always tell you they can’t change your room. We asked for a top floor and they put us below a loud family. It’s Sunday night. I know the hotel isn’t fully booked. Even though we are platinum status with Expedia, they told us they couldn’t put us on the top floor.

Comfortable family atmosphere.

This place is great if you have kids. The pool was delightful and the room was spacious! The front desk staff was fine. But, the cleaning staff was super kind and gave great recommendations for food!
