It would’ve been fine trip, however the hotel never contacted us about the pool being out of service or we would’ve found another hotel to stay at. We small children and they wanted to swim in a pool when it is 100+ outside. The site never said they pool was out of service either. So when we got to the hotel at 8pm to check-in it was a horrible surprise about the pool.

I really like this place it's clean & I feel safe. The staff is always nice and accommodating. This is my go to place when I need a room in Anderson, California. I also refer my friends and family to stay here when they come up to visit. The only suggestion I have is that the pool iis in need of some freshening up.

I have attended business conferences there and thought that it would be a nice place to stay. So I had the opportunity to take my grandsons there for a weekend. The room we stayed in looked like a rock band partied in it and had stripped it bare, and the hotel didn’t have time or possibly money to repair the room. The king size bed was broken (or I suspect it actually was two twin mattresses slapped on a king box spring with a mattress pad thrown on top. I mentioned it to the clerk and she stated she would have maintenance come look at it and of course no one showed up for the entire weekend… made me sad, I would have loved to have a place to stay so close to the kids.

I would like to start out saying that I really like the staff that works at Gaia. Starting with check in through the cleaning gentleman who helped me out. My room was spacious, queen bed was nice, and great shower pressure. Obviously, I am guessing since covid this hotel shows a lot of wear and tear both inside and out especially in the bathroom. I do like the concept though. Other than that, it was a good stay visiting my family.

Unheated pool and broken jacuzzi. No room service during my stay. When I stepped in the shower, the tub was slippery and I slipped and fell backwards hitting the edge of the tub and toilet as I fell to the floor. The tub should have been treated with a non-skid coating. I am experiencing severe pain now.

My stay at the property started great with the check in process, ans then went down hill after that. I paid the pet fee and was not provided a room with hard wood floors as was mentioned when I made the reservation. The room had a musty smell and likely had not been aired out prior to arrival. The room was not cleaned after the first nights stay due to more checkouts and the stay didnt have time to get around to cleaning my room....as I was told by the front desk staff, which prompted her to have frsh towels brought to the room for my second night's stay. Finally, the hotel bills you for the entire stay up front, and then bills you for each day you stay again, but the first day's charge is credited back to you with 5 to 10 fays after checkout. This is how it was explained to me by two different front deak staff members, which is the firs time I've ever dealt with a hotel policy like this. The restaurant is closed on Mondays, so you will need to go off site for dining. I would not recommend this hotel to family and friends unless it is a last resort. The cost of the room per night is reasonable, but the policies and management of the property was disapponiting.

Nice quiet and clean option just south of Redding. Really nice on-site restaurant for travelers tired of fast food and chain restaurants. Helpful staff. I’ll definitely stay there again on my next trip to see family in SoCal.

The only thing that would need improvement would be the quality of the food from the grill. The hospitality service was second to NONE! We will be coming back and sharing our comfortable weekend experience at your establishment with family and friends. The hospitality service was excellent.

If you like rustic and we do. The pond area was beautiful and the fire pits area was surrounded by tea lights are and the grounds were about 200 feet away from the Sacramento river and there was a stoned area to sit with tea lights above. We could sit there all day. The restaurant Nextdoor ( The Woodside grill was a plus. Cause there were no other place to eat close by. It was a nice short walk through the hotel pond area to get to it. They didn’t have a lot on the menu but what you do order, you get a FULL plate! And the food was delicious! And they had a full bar. My husband and I stayed two nights and it was quiet, peaceful and our room was super clean. We were only a few exits off the highway 5 to the famous Sundial Bridge recreation area. The staff were awesome and happy to help you with anything! We will definitely recommend family and friends and we will definitely come back again to stay here!
