Hampton Inn & Suites Redding

For the past two years Redding has been a great spot for a family get-together for our NV, OR and CA residents. Last year our room was fine. This year we were given a handicapped room that was run down with surprisingly uncomfortable beds. Obviously they are old like us. However, the staff at this Hampton location is super. Also, the location is convenient for all activities.

Comfortable, good condition, friendly staff, BUT very noisy inside. Sounded like the floors and walls were paper. People departing with roller suitcases and running and yelling kids in the halls all floors around us. Or the maid cart brigade departed within a short time on all floors or something. Easy fix- Please post signs in lobby, halls and elevators to kindly be quiet others may be sleeping. And a reminder to especially keep kids from yelling and running up and down the halls during their waking hours. We love and have kids too. But we are all coming and going at different times. Location is good as it’s on a quiet street. Nice pool, outside fountains bring ambiance. Plus a couple tables and chairs in the pool area were wonderful. Well maintained outside. Those things make this location a great get away for the family. Or adults. But quiet signs work well at other hotels we have stayed at in this price range. They remind us all that it’s a sleeping place for everyone. Thank you.
