AC Hotel by Marriott Sunnyvale Cupertino

Great America weekend. Room with four children and the stay was a good one. They the girl’s ages: 8-13 like the feature of the lobby very much.

The property is clean however it didn’t have much breakfast choices. I don’t think this hotel is kid friendly. The room didn’t have a microwave.

We booked this hotel for two nights - the night before and the night of our wedding. The first night at the hotel everything went smoothly. The hotel was clean, quiet, and pleasant. The second night (our wedding night), however, was a total disaster. We arrived at the hotel around midnight after our wedding, and when we tried to enter into our room, the lock was completely stuck closed. There was no way for us to get into our room even after calling staff to help. To no avail, they put us in the room next store for the night. No access to our clothes, toiletries, anything. All we had to sleep in were the clothes we got married in. The next morning, we call the front desk and still our room is unaccessible. Finally about an hour later they got an engineer out to repair the door. I had to walk down the hallway in a towel. When we checked out, we told the front desk staff that our stay was not great, and they said they would comp our breakfast from that morning - about $25. To top it all off, we found out when we got back home that a sweet family member had dropped off a basket for us to be put in our room on our wedding night - it included snacks, champagne, etc. for us to enjoy. Not only did we not receive the basket at all, but when we called the hotel to find out what happened to the basket, they said it was lost and no one could find it. So our family member spent $70 on a basket of goodies for us to never receive it. Will never stay here again.
