Holiday Inn Golden Gateway, an IHG Hotel

Property not in a good location for families. Lots of homeless and people on drugs walking around nearby . Staying on the top floor made my ears pop and act up, causing dizziness . The room itself and staff were both acceptable.

We had an amazing time as a family. My daughter loved using the pool and the view was phenomenal!!! I would definitely stay there again!!!

Had two rooms for a family vacation - they were extremely clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the Dove products Holiday Inn carries. This was the first time in years that I stayed at a Holiday Inn and it was great! The price and location could also not be beat!

Not exactly close to everything but we felt safe and the room was clean & large for our family of 4.

The security gaurd Michael that works weekends was wonderful! He was so friendly and hospitable. He gifted our boys collectible baseball cards upon our departure and told us the story to each card. The property was neat and clean. It was so nice having our room on the same floor as the pool since we traveled with kids. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

This property provided a nexus location to travel by transit to various parts of the city. Situated in the Nob Hill district its rooms are elevated above ground level providing unparalleled city views, while avoiding ground level distractions. The property staff are friendly and professional providing amenities upon request. Thanks to the staff for providing bottled water to my room, as an extra. Great job in providing a convenient clean and easily accessible modern property to families and travellers with and without a vehicle.

The room was clean and the facility was quiet. Someone allowed their kids into the gym unattended so, I think some monitoring is needed there but overall my stay was great.

It was a wonderful day me and my family enjoyed the comfort and flexibility of the rooms. The staff are very friendly and very courteous. I have a good time every time I visit this hotel. The only thing that bothers me about this trip is along with taking a vacation with my family. We wanted to go see the Yankee game. They were playing the Giants. And we couldn’t make it to Saturday’s game so we decided to stay in and watch on TV but it was blacked out in the Hotel room, but they had it downstairs where you could watch if you ate in the restaurant and paid for food. I don’t appreciate that. You’re forcing me to have to pay to enjoy a game which it should be free because I’m in the city where the game is based. Come to find out from Manager. They do that on purpose that makes you have to come downstairs or go to a bar to watch the game, you would think you would get local Channels for a game is being held no more than seven blocks from where you’re staying. Otherwise, the hotel is always clean and nice. Would recommend it except if you’re watching a baseball game or any other sporting event in your room.

This is our go-to hotel for San Francisco. We just drive there and leave our car in the parking garage. It is centrally located to so many of the sites and attractions that we come to enjoy. The staff are top-notch and accommodating to anything that we may need. There is a restaurant as well as grab and go right in the lobby of the hotel. There are also a lot of vending machines including a CVS vending machine! The rooms are clean and comfortable with great views. The elevators are equipped with technology that only allow you to go to the floor that your room key is set for. I always feel safe with my family here. All in all it is a great hotel and I would recommend it to anyone staying in San Francisco.
