We were pressed for time. The access to CPMC was the main reason to stay at this location of the Courtyard. The hotel was clean, the service was kind, and there was plenty of room for families to stay. We ended up having to go back to the hotel the following day. The staff was really accommodating. In terms of service, Janea and Chiauita went above and beyond. These days, it's uncommon to find customer service with their level of hospitality, kindness, and respect.

Great staff, historic, charming, quiet and clean SF hotel. Beds are very comfortable. We are staying here because a family member has a medical procedure at Sutter CPMC Van Ness Med Center. But this would be a great spot if you’re interested in seeing ALL of San Francisco and has a super secure parking facility with drug stores and restaurants very close by.

Very pleased with the hotel. Clean, friendly staff and beautiful decor in the establishment. Would definitely stay here again on my future trips. The family enjoyed the stay at the hotel.

Nice, clean hotel with fun decor (that excited the younger members of the family). We were visiting a relative in the hospital across the street, so it was a perfect location for us (but maybe not ideal for tourist activities). There were lots of good dining locations walking distance from the hotel and safe, fenced parking areas for guests with cars.
