Whenever I go to visit family in CA I always stay at the Poway Hampton Inn and Suites. I can always expect great service and a clean, comfortable room. I wish the chain did not switch their soap products as I am very allergic to many fragrances. Also, some of the cleaning products/sprays used are not allergy friendly.

Very nice hotel. The food was yummy in the morning usually in hotels, the sausage and eggs taste horrible. This was so good. My kids were so happy that they got food.

We had someone above us with children, I think, who constantly were running and jumping in their room day and night and it became somewhat annoying. Also, it would have been nice if our bathroom door stayed open. It closed automatically and to air it out we had to place a garbage can in the door to hold it propped open.

Had to wait several minutes for desk clerk to show up and check us in. Room was clean and had everything we needed except a wastebasket in the bathroom. More staff should be assigned to help at breakfast. The tables were not wiped off between diners, and there were no cleaning wipes available for us to clean up ourselves. The one staff member helping restock food couldn’t keep up. In spite of these minor issues, we will choose to stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Location is a bit out of the way, but everything else was great. We had the two queens room and it was spacious enough for our family of four. I appreciated the extra chairs so we didn’t have to sit on the beds while hanging out in the room. The pool was bigger than usual, although my son said the water tasted really bad. Breakfast selection was small but sufficient. The waffle maker was a hit. Overall a wonderful stay.

This was a great stay. I like my bed a little softer and it was perfect for me. I slept so well. We had a suite and it was nice and big. We had a handicapped room and not sure why, but that is probably why there was so much room. The shower was a little tough to operate and was so slick. I feel like it should be converted into a handicap shower with rough floors to prevent slipping. I didn't think I would need the provided mat and didn't use it when I took a shower but for sure put it in there for my kid and my next shower.
