DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Bernardino

Good hotel but the discrimination I experienced when dealing with the morning group of workers was out of this world. I had to stay here because a pipe burst in my home causing water damage. I checked in the night of the 26th with a hotel manager using my prepaid debit card because I don’t do banks. Everything went smooth. Myself and my 3 children AND dog checked in. Used my card had no issues. I ended up needing to extend my stay, in which morning crew said I would have to rebook it and do it as a new check in still but would be able to keep my room. They said I had until 2 pm to do so in which I dropped my kids off went to work and rebooked the room. I called to verify and when I came down on my break from work to put my card on file Valerie I believe her name was at the front desk before even checking my reservation told me I had to wait 30 min because it probably didn’t come in yet. I asked if she could check which she did and lo and behold my reservation (already paid for) was there. We proceeded to check in and it just seems like she was doing the most to hold up my check in. I sat at that desk for 30 min while she searched online the type of cards they can accept mind you I just used a prepaid card for the room I still at this point currently had, checking with other staff, asking the manager. Just for them to tell me that they can’t take my card because it was a prepaid card. Literally the same type of card I used previously now less than 24 hours later was a problem.

Comfortable and convenient for a moderate-sized party. Occupied 4 rooms for 10 adult family guests…able to accommodate on the same floor with close room proximity during a busy graduation weekend.

Are stay was leisure and family time we rented 3 rooms with an expectation of excellence price and all, clean over all, in. Common areas clean , nice , clean bathrooms were exceptionally clean that’s important to me, but disappointments in no complimentary breakfast, no complimentary nothing we had 1 water bottle per room,room coffee condiments was not even enough for 2 people, no pen or paper no info on phone how reach front desk. Only to reach certain departments front desk was not stated there took us a few minutes to reach them, no complimentary waters or coffe in common areas and bar and restaurant extremely high priced, we expected more welcoming I guess being a Hilton we’ve gone to others where there so gracious greeting and generous, and warming. Vague and cold not rude they did there job. Were clean completed tasks. Just lacking warmth and friendliness, Also. The handicap room was larger. One king bed but that was it not a table or piece of furniture in site I went in to visit w/ my grandmother just the bed only room completely empty of any type of furniture. Strange. Also all bathroom lightings were dark not bright enough to see well -Most likely to try another similar price site at different hotel.

Our stay was very good, kids had fun in the pool.

The stay was great but we stayed for 6 days 4 of the days was breakfast 2 kids 2 adults but o day 5 they tell me that it’s for 2 adults! Like what I booked the same

the bed was excellent, my husband and i sleep like a babies 👍

DoubleTree by Hilton at San Bernardino CA (only 20 minutes from Ontario Intl. Airport) went above and beyond in going above and beyond. This trip was unfortunately not made for an enjoyable vacation. This trip was due to a horrific family tragedy so I flew out immediately to be there for my sister and her family. From check-in to check-out the staff in their entirety, from the lobby to The Sunrise Room to The Cutting Board to Housekeeping, contributed to treating me with the utmost courtesy, respect and sensitivity. When I was able I partook in the pool and hot tub amenities to try to alleviate the unbearable tension. The entire hotel is clean, spacious with staff at the ready to lend a helping hand with a smile. They also quickly, quietly and decisively handled a security situation without incident in the parking lot after I reported it to the front desk. Lastly, given I was an emotional wreck, they returned my laptop that was inadvertently left behind. I was in the best place for my needs during this difficult time and I would stay at a DoubleTree by Hilton without hesitation.

I called to see if I could get an early check in and was told I could, I show up and I am told I cannot, which is fine. I am told to come back around 3 or 4 so I leave to a family gathering and then I call at 8:45pm and they tell me they were wondering if I still wanted the room, I tell them of course I do and that I’m on my way, but when I get to the property not even 10 min later the young lady swipes my card and then proceeds to tell me my room isn’t ready! It’s 9pm, how is my room not ready, and why would she swipe my card if she doesn’t even have a room for me. She proceeds to tell me it will take 30 mins to get a room for me, my wife finds another hotel down the road for us and when I call back she tells me I should cancel because the room isn’t ready yet and she doesn’t know when it will be ready, of course we canceled. The only good experience was the manager Easy who I spoke to the next morning and was able to get me a full refund without having to wait the 7 to 10 days.

Had family in from out of town. I suggested they stay here, and I as well rented a suite so we could be close, visit and enjoy each other. Check in was quick, staff was very helpful, room was as advertised. Place was very clean and quiet. What more could you want?
