Our stay at Snow Lake Lodge exceeded our expectations, especially after camping for 2 nights at a nearby campsite. For our first time visiting the area, we were not sure what to expect. For our family of 6, we reserved 2 king rooms. They were spacious, clean, and exceptionally accommodating. The location though not within walking distance to the Village was still superb. We visited during a hotter than normal time of year so keep in mind there is no AC. However, we spent our days at the lake or riding the chairlift at the nearby ski resort. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

We stayed at snow lake lodge for three nights family trip and it was the best experience we ever had. Everything was flawless and clean, the condo had everything we needed, service was professional and excellent.

I received a call from Snow Lake lodge the day before my arrival, the girl was very abrupt and had a very accusatory with her comments ... I felt like a child being scolded...nevertheless I had asked for an early check in..... I was told to call back in the morning.... I called in the morning @10...I was told possibly @1 ... we made it up to Big Bear @1 and dropped in the lodge ...no room was ready ...I asked for a call if something came available...I was told check in was 4:30 ..I had requested a first floor room ...we came back at 4:30 ...No first floor rooms were ready ,we were told it would be quite a while til one would be available...by now it was 4:50 I was exhausted and just wanted to settle in ...so we took a room on the second floor ...Oh yes... I forgot to mention the horrible phone connection. At least 3 of my calls were cutting out so badly that I was hung up on ..Granted I was called back ..1 time to no avail ,I still couldn’t understand what was being said ...it was extremely frustrating..

This was a fantastic hotel for a weekend trip to play in the snow for our family (mom, dad & sons (13 & 10 yrs). We loved our room. Yes, the decor is dated but I challenge anyone to find a hotel or cabin in Big Bear that is not. It was clean and well-appointed. The two bathrooms and a kitchen were fantastic! Location is close to ski and tubing areas as well as shopping. The staff we met were so kind, helpful and thoughtful. We will definitely return for another stay and will recommend this hotel to others!

Clean and comfortable, basic suite with full kitchen, nothing fancy. Gas fireplaces in both rooms are very cozy, but you have to find the matches they've got hiding in one of the cupboards to light the fire yourself. The room was in good condition and appeared to be recently renovated. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and our unit had nice high ceilings, but there are no elevators. Normally the stairs wouldn't be a problem, but more challenging at that altitude. Would have preferred a ground floor. The hotel has limited services: front desk has limited hours, continental breakfast was served only on Saturday (very limited selection), and no housekeeping at all while we were there. The hot tub was open but we didn't use it. The outdoor pool was closed for the season. Free wifi, but you get what you pay for. Almost no connectivity, and when you do connect, it's very slow. Free parking. This property is an older timeshare condo, and does not have all the amenities you would expect from a 3-star hotel, but it's nice to have a separate bedroom and a full kitchen if that's what you're looking for. The bedroom and bathrooms are huge, even though the living room is a bit small for 4 people. It's close to Big Bear Village and Lake, but not right in the middle of things. Definitely need a car. Most places close early; even a lot of the restaurants in the area were closed at 7 pm when we checked in. Overall, it was a comfortable stay for my family, and I might stay here again.
