Hotel Zoso

Upon arrive we were greeted in a such a friendly way from valet to the front guest personnel, answering all our questions about walking destinations. Our room was spacious and happy it included a mini fridge, bottled water, a coffee maker with Peet’s coffee (nice touch) The room was clean and the hand soap and body lotion smelled sophisticated. (Lavender sage?) The towels were thick and nice to the touch. The robes were comfortable. We enjoyed our fresh brewed coffee on the balcony looking at the mountains and the palm trees. There was a wonderful coffee table book that included great stories of local businesses and the history of Palm Springs. Be sure to check it out. There is wonderful art throughout the hotel which is a pleasant touch and very instagramable. The pool area was very fun, there were a few bugs and leaves but that is too be expected. Towels and outside restrooms were clean and convent. This hotel is very centrally located and we would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. We would also stay here again!

Perfect, just what I wanted for a mid-week getaway. A quiet spot by the pool, plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas, lovely view. Great for my teen, too. Centrally located to downtown and restaurants. Comfortable beds, clean, friendly staff. Happy hour and free soda for kids. Played on the pool table. Got a massage. Easy valet for my car. Recommend getting a room pool view because motorcycles go by at night and is loud on the street.

This is place is convenient to walk around the town. The only thing was the room seems not soundproof. You can hear people talking next door. Also during our stay seems the occupant on the next floor above us has kids. Past 10pm you can hear them running around still.

Decided on a quick getaway for Labor Day weekend and decided to treat ourselves to a room with the pool view. Our room wasnt ready till after 5pm so management was very nice and gave us an extra-late check out! Pool is on the smaller side compared to other resort style pools in the area but felt more exclusive. The pool bar and pool area was great, only downside is that from time to time the spa would get taken over by kids and restaurant was closed? Still would go back in a heartbeat.

We thought the hotel was very clean. Bummed that the inside bar was never open. The shuttle driver was a little grumpy. Our only complaint was that 2/3 nights we started we had drunk people super loud hanging in the hallway for hours around 2am plus a family across the way with about 10 people staying there, their little kids screaming and running down the hallways at 130am. We did call security the second night. Awesome location!

Excellent location. The hotel staff was amazing! Will recommend to friends and family.

This is a tricky review to write. We had stayed at the hotel several years ago when it was a Hard Rock, and we are familiar with Palm Springs. When booking, I put in the age of our son, so we assumed it was a family-friendly hotel. It is not. Please understand my words are directed to Zoso and hotels.com, not the International Bear Convergence that was held there during our stay. I won't go into details other than to say the signage and the guy dressed only in a leather harness forced some conversations with our child that we really didn't want to have on a family vacation. The hotel should have given us a heads-up about the nature of the convention that was being held there. Using the hot tub and gym was not an option for us. The hotel has not been updated since it was a Hard Rock. Same decor--everything. The place is showing its age. On the plus side, I bet it was a lot of fun for the IBC crowd! Again, no disrespect to the community, but the hotel should have been advertised as adult-only during the IBC weekend. I would add photos but they will not meet the family-friendly requirement.
