La Quinta Resort & Club, Curio Collection by Hilton

Property is beautiful very family friendly amazing staff does not feel crowded at all. It is an older property not modern but we loved it and have been back again.

Decided to spend my Birthday weekend at La Quinta. Arrived a little arly and supposedly they'd text as soon as room was ready. Never recevived a text. Went to the front desk they said oh your room has been ready for a while. Arrived at the room and there was a trash bin overflowing with trash, truthfully all the bins were overflowing. Went to the family pool but it was full. Not enough chairs, not enough umbrellas, Trash and towels left everywhere. The pool bar had mud stains everywhere, no cups for people to drink water. Guy waited 20 min before he got cups Where was housekeeping???? I requested robes and slippers from housekeeping and 2 hrs later I called and they said Oh we don't know what happen we'll order them now. The next morning got up at 6am to sip coffee by the pool near my room. No towels available, trash every where, junk/toys strewn everywhere. Needless to say couldn't enjoy the pool or anything. Will never be back to La Quinta. They charged for a horrible experience. LLobby was clean but everything else lacked. Where is the customer service

I love La Quinta Resort, I have been bringing my family here for years. Great spot to getaway.

very nice property with nice grounds and family oriented amenities

Our family was there over the holidays. Impeccably maintained, friendly and helpful staff, overall great property. The two things that impacted us greatly and bummed me out were lack of parking by our room and restaurant hours. With the size of this resort, I was surprised how few options there were to eat, especially at lunch. Also, the resort does not label the parking spots they indicated were meant for our room. The spots closest to our room were constantly full and half of the cars taking the spots did not have the appropriate placard indicating they were hotel guests. It was a LONG walk to get to our car. My suggestion is they monitor the lots for unauthorized cars and/or label the spots corresponding to the room they are intended for. All in all, a great stay!

Everything was totally fine - but the place is looking and getting tired. If you have kids under 10, this is THE SPOT - but as a solo traveler in town for a wedding, this was not the vibe and I only wish they offered adult-only areas to divide the groups. Inflatable junk EVERYWHERE and kids in swimming pools from 8A until 10PM...

Does not meet a 5-star hotel rating expectations. Buildings are quite old but well maintained. Plenty are of small pools and one big family pool with questionable water quality.

We took advantage of summer (off season) rates to stay here. Would not be able to afford regular rates. For a discounted amount we were upgraded to a pool-side casita. Not sure if that was really necessary but it was nice to have our "own" pool. However, for 2 days of our stay there was a large group/family that placed a covered tent, about 10 ft by 10 ft in one end of the pool and while they spent all of their time in the pool their belongings were sitting in the only loungers in the shade. It was so hot during the day that without the shade you couldn't really enjoy the pool until later. That was ok since we were gone most of the day. My husband took advantage early in the morning. The room was very comfortable after we called for someone to lower the temp on the AC, it was 76 in the room! They did lower it and also brought us an oscillating fan which helped immensely. Everyone was very accomodating, anything we needed all we had to do was text. We had room service the 1st night which was fine and one night we ate at the Adobe Grill and enjoyed that. We did not try any other food on the property. We were disappointed that the boutique shops were closed Mon-Wed since those are the days we were there. A lot of Palm Springs area stores were closed and only opened on the weekend which bummed us out. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, the grounds were beautiful but too hot to enjoy during the day and even in the evening. We liked the La Quinta area better than PS.

The rooms are very spacious and plenty of pool choices if you aren’t in the mood for a crowd. They also have a 21 pool in case you don’t want any kids around!
