Edgewater Inn Reedley

We had our stay with edgewater inn for 6 days we had already been checked in and at the hotel for 3 days. We were visting family and friends so werent at the hotel constantly. We had left the 3rd day we were there around 1pm and returned at 11pm we came back to find that someone else was checked into our room we had been staying in and stolen some of our property in the room. The hotel was only going to give a small discount off the room when the stuff that was stolen was over the price of the room and it was the hotels fault. They checked someone into our room even when they can see on there computer that someone is occupied in that room and whos checked into what room that is why they take copies of our ids. The staff tried to help as much as possible but the owner of the hotel took a while to just get back to them about a refund for the room. Overall never returning here again.

For the price, the rooms were ok. The floor was filthy, our feet turned BLACK after taking a shower and walking to the beds. But the beds were clean. There were no power outlets near the beds and the TV was not a smart TV. The shower will flood the bathroom if the curtain is not in perfectly. The neighbors played loud music from the time we got there the same song over and over and then there was a band at the neighboring RV Park. The pool had a cigarette at the bottom and a lot of debris and the hot tub had a very large cockroach and it was slimy green. Unfortunate since it was a million degrees and we were looking forward to using it to cool off. Other guests were yelling this morning at their small child and yelling about the price of the hotel. The woman who was there last night around 6 or 7 at the desk was amazing. I’m not sure her name but she was really nice. Honestly for the price I’d stay there again because it felt safe-ish and was the closest hotel to the BMX track we needed to get to. $100 for a safe place despite the faults which I kinda expected (except the pool, that sucked!)

It was great location I was visiting family in this area for the holiday

We stay here annually for family gatherings. It’s clean and basic accommodations. We’ve known a staff member for years and look forward to seeing her each time we visit.

I visit family in Reedley and Love staying in this hotel again and again. So close to everything and right by Kings River where you can enjoy a long walk or hike.

I highly recommend this hotel, I was surprised by the cleanliness, I will definitely come back every time I visit the city. The staff was neutral, professional and attentive. Fresh coffee and toast every morning, my family and I really enjoyed the stay. Thank you :)

Our stay was amazing. My boyfriend was playing in a concert across the street. Extremely convenient for us. If you are sensitive to noise check to see if there is a music event the evening your staying. It was perfect for us. I really didn’t know what to expect but I was blown away. The staff were friendly, and professional and the accommodations were superb. Very clean, modern, large room, large frig, comfy bed, and a blasting ac. We slept like babies. I’d highly recommend this place and we will be back if we are ever passing through again.

I am not from the Central Valley but my husband's family is so we go out there at least once or twice a year and always stay at this place. I will say the best thing about the rooms is the AC during the hottest of the hot days. I mean yes there are some needed upgrades but I won't complain as long as I have my AC. There is a pool and onsite laundry room plus ice machine. You have the convenience of fast food just less than a mile away PLUS Starbucks (SAY WHAT) I mean if you are looking to stay a night OR two I would say stay here.

The AC did not work very well. Was blowing warm air. The shower water was warm. We got locked out of our hotel room due to the key cards not working. we had to get new key cards and even then those were not working. Non of our key cards were working to open our door, We were standing outside for about 20 minutes with our baby just trying to get into our hotel room. It shouldn’t be that difficult to get into a room. We drove all the way from WA to CA. It was not the greatest hotel experience.
