Staybridge Suites Newark - Fremont, an IHG Hotel

We’re a family of seven, and this room was one of the most spacious suites we’ve stayed in. The room was also very clean, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Overall, excellent stay.

This is the worst ever time I booked a hotel for my family. Things on the deal on hotel.com are not the same as the hotel itself. I booked three rooms ahead of time; I had to come back three times to ensure that my family book would have no more problems, and in the end, everything was still not right. We are all disappointed. I wouldn't say I like to book this hotel again.

I and my family loved the attitude of the staff at this hotel. They were warm, friendly and always eager to help us with our every small need during our stay. These are not qualities that we came across among hotel staff members in the so many other hotels that we stayed in. Cary's Wu, Breanne, D'vina and their team (Sorry, I do not remember many of their names) were simply outstanding. We prefer to stay in this hotel primarily because of the staff. I and my family strongly recommend this hotel.

I paid for a 2 bedroom suite in full a month before our trip. After driving for 10 hours to get from WA state to Fremont, CA area, the hotel calls me with 1 hour before arrival and tells me there is no room for us. All they have for us a 1 king suite, for 2 adults and 4 kids. First I am told my reservation only holds a room, not a specific room, even though I paid in full for a 2 bedroom suite. Then upon arrival and questing even more and showing them my receipt stating I paid in full for a 2 bedroom, they tell me it was a "maintenance issue". I was then booked next door in a hotel that didn't offer a full kitchen, forcing us to eat out every meal (we had planned on cooking in our hotel kitchen). The manager says they "will make it right and call or text me the next day" but no one ever does. On my final day of checkout I ask again to see a manager (who had no idea what had happened) and she offers me 40,000 IHG points saying it will cover 2 nights stay. Upon looking at points on their website, that really only overs 1 night at most. Very very disappointed.

The stay was great. Staff was friendly (Shella). Everyone else as well. The room was spacious and clean. Morning breakfast was provided, and the selection available was great. Pool area was clean and fun for the kids, it was nice and convenient that towels were available to grab at the pool area. We did have issues with the door key disactivating and not able to enter the room. We informed staff and they were helpful and apologized for the inconvenience but it did happen 4 times. I don't hold that against the staff because it seemed to be a technical issue.

Really great property. We stayed in one of the two bedroom suits. Its great for families. The tv had some issues but someone was sent up right away and it was fixed

Great place for families

Booked a 2 bedroom suite for a post grad family party. Lots of room, beds comfy but pillows too puffy, nice pool but too small, and hotel needs a hot tub!!! Staff was very helpful. Lots of gathering places on ground floor.

Very pleasant. Private. Quiet. Breakfast (multiple items) . Free laundry. Worked for me as a family.
