Sonesta Silicon Valley

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. Parking was easy since they had plenty. It was very busy on the night we arrived and we were greeted with a smile and was offered our complimentary drink. When we arrived in the room, the AC was not working. I contacted the front desk and they send maintenance to check it out immediately. They fixed the issue that same night and the AC worked fine afterwards. Somehow the bathroom door locked so we contacted the front desk that same night. They send someone to help us immediately. We were impressed at how fast they responded even on a very busy night. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this location to anyone who needs a place to stay when visiting this area or around the area. My family and I have already planned to book our next stay at this place for our next trip in Northern California. Thank you Sonesta of Silicon Valley and your staff for hosting us.

Nice rooms and clean! Very price friendly for the area. We added on the breakfast for our family and the waitress there was extremely friendly and caring towards us and our kids. She remembered everyone's drink order for the 2nd morning of breakfast we had there.

Stayed overnight with my family and it was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in! Service was great, room was amazing, heated pool and a hot tub which came in handy for the cold weather but still able to take a dip in. They also offer on site breakfast/dinner. Will definitely stay here again.

My sister-in-law and I stayed at Sonesta Silicon Valley for a few nights as we were in town to visit family. We arrived late to check-in and the gentleman that helped us very helpful and warm. However, the rest of our stay wasn’t as pleasant as our first impression. The first morning, we were rudely awakened early in the morning by a fire alarm that went off. When we mentioned our disappointment with the front desk, we were told that the reason for the alarm was unknown and it wasn’t their fault that it had gone off. We had also noticed black mold on our ceiling above the sink. The front desk said they would have someone look at it and would move our room in the evening upon our return. When we returned later that afternoon, the front desk said they had sent someone to our room and no mold was found. After some back and forth, our room was moved. And then on our last night, we were woken up by an unscheduled wake up call at 6:30 am. Overall, the service was disappointing, the ladies at the front desk were not friendly, our sleep was interrupted 2/4 of the mornings that we spent there, and room was hazardous.

Best value overall for your money and little ones.

It was a nice and quiet spot to spend the weekend with the family while still so close to the many activities in the area!

Good location that's right off the Montague Expressway exit. The hotel is nestled next to office buildings. The lobby was nice and clean as well as the dining area which was modern to today's standards. The room itself was quaint and clean. I loved the Standing shower. Everything I wished my bathroom at home would look like. My family loved the Coco Mango scented soaps and shampoos. I recommended this Hotel to anyone that's on a budget but also wants 4-Star quality.

I was very impressed by the reception I received from staff when I arrived. My room was very clean and the bed inviting and comfortable. I would recommend this destination to my friends and family. I will book this hotel the next time I come to town.

Quiet and clean hotel with comfy beds. Great and safe area for families this is our second time staying while visiting San Jose. Will definitely be staying again!
