I loved our stay here for the most part. The bed was so comfortable and room was very quiet. They had a free infant crib which was so nice for us. However, if you order room service, the delivery fee is very high and the tip is already included but I wasn’t told that.A chicken quesadilla and a sprite cost me a steep $41.parking is $29 too.

There is no spa by the pool anymore. It's been cemented over. But I still like the Westin. It's a lovely -- if a bit overpriced -- option near my brother's house when we go for family events.

The team at Westin Pasadena were amazingly accommodating, kind and efficient. All requests were met with a smile and expediency that made our 4 day stay a dream. Traveling during treacherous winter weather with 2 children is often a pain, but Westin Pasadena created an ideal experience for us all. From providing warm towels after the dip in the heated pool, to making a special treat for my son (picky eating 4 year old) at the restaurant, it was perfection. Not to mention the renovations and modernity were appreciated by the adults! Don't think that just because the hotel is family-friendly that it's not a romantic getaway as well. Quiet on the floors, but fun and drinks at the bar/lounge or outdoor patio with firepit.

I liked the property it was awesome and beautiful. My room smelled like wet carpet and the air didn't work, I tried to call the front desk and the damn phone did not work. My kids were complaining about the mildew smell in the room and I was soooooo excited because it THE WESTIN I had never stayed there and was excited to finally go and it was not the best room and the beds were sooooo small it's crazy!

The renovations were nicely done and staff was great. The challenges were inside the room. The room doors are super heavy and clang even when closely held. You hear doors open and close in your hallway which woke us up more than once. And the walls must be paper thin. Small child/infant next door who literally screamed half the night and then stayed awake from dawn, yelling. Finally, while the bed was great, the pillows were terribly thin. Had we arrived earlier we’d have begged housekeeping for a few more.

I booked a 2 queen bedroom for the night with me family. However the beds were definitely NOT a queen bed. They were a full size bed.

Hotel was booked for my 81 year old mother to stay close to family for the July 4th holiday. We sadly have a one bedroom and wanted mom to be comfortable for her stay. Sadly, the shower was broken and could not switch between the wand or overhead so both were full force continuously. Housekeeping later called maintenance who confirmed that it was broken. The blinds on the sole window were also broken. Only one blind, not two and the controls did not function properly nor did the blind itself retract fully, or go all the way down. It was also out of the rail which maintenance attempted to fix but the whole unit was broken so, that couldn't happen. Later that evening the bathroom sink also started to back up. Finally, the phone in the room had a broken cradle and did not work properly. After a few attempts to fix, I requested a credit for the first night which multiple employees said they would "ask the manager and agreed this should be possible due to the multiple problems." Sadly, because it was booked through this 3rd party site, they said they could not credit any night's fees. My mother was finally moved to a different room thanks to the customer service attendant, Aaron! He's the hero here so far. This ended up being a difficult and miserable experience for my mother through the first two days she stayed here. I can say they were prompt and polite with their service but should have a way to credit for the awful conditions of the room she was given and should have offered.

The hotel itself was very nice and well kept. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The disappointing part was the noise. I have two small children, so when I say noise, please know I mean noise. Dogs barking and the doors slamming in the hallway. At 0730, the housekeeping staff was vacuuming and slamming doors while yelling to each other across the halls. It was super loud! I don’t normally complain, but I just wanted to let people know.
