Overall, it was a satisfactory accommodation. We stayed in executive suite junior for 2 nights. It was a room large enough for the whole family to stay. The valet service was also very convenient. One problem was that there were power outlets in several places in the room, but most of them were unusable. I could feel from this part that this building is old. Since everyone has electric gadgets like cell phone in these days, I think it is essential to have as many working outlets as possible to charge the phone, laptop, etc. It was disappointing in that way. If only this part was corrected, I think it would be a very cool accommodation.

VERY poor sound insulation. I was woken up at 6am by music and then children running and jumping above me - a hotel shouldn’t have these problems, especially for that price. Not worth it.

Our stay was one night to accomplish a pet exchange & delivery of camping equipment to my USAF grandson. Your hotel was selected based on its location & equal drive time between the families for the pet exchange. Had no idea how upscale your property was. It will go down in our family story about the “Beverly Hillbillies” stay @ your hotel! LOL. The staff did not blink an eye at check in or check out. Accommodations were top notch but we did not utilize any of the perks offered except the dog park. Will highly recommend your hotel to my retirement friends who can certainly afford & not travel as “Beverly Hillbillies”. Hotel very reasonably priced, king size suites terrific & property grounds beautiful. Excellent service from Barnaby. Hotel selection was based on Santa Monica destination & my specific requirements for upscale area (safety) & only properties with inside room corridors. Underground car parking was an unexpected plus! Cost was never a factor-location was main goal. I was not disappointed.

We have stayed before a few times. We really like the geo location and that it is not a large high rise corporate hotel.
I think the cost is quite appropriate and I think the rooms are lovely. We had a two bedroom junior suite up by the pool on the ground level with chairs outside. I think that the front desk could be more welcoming any more energetic. I also miss when they used to have candy at the front desk.

Parking fees, valet parking when your car is literally in plain sight but they won’t let you self park, extremely noisy, most concerning was the description of their junior executive suite….totally false. We ended up with our daughter in our king bed with us…..she is18.

Pros:
-very large rooms
-3rd party pilates studio on site
-dining facilities with great service. Food is pretty good
- location
Cons:
-limited front desk staff. Always a wait for service.
-resort and parking fees are excessive
-rooms are loud. Can hear sunset/405 traffic and can hear through walls of neighbors in hotel.
-lots of families….with small kids.

What I didnt like about this property is that is if infested with ants. Stayed there for one night when me and my family arrived there we had not noticed that there was ants in our room untill the next morning. I had gotten up to take a shower and saw that there was in ant in my cloth buy didnt think much of it. Once I was finish I remember go to the bed and seeing more didnt much once again I then saw that my husband on the other hand had been biten. In my mind I was like hes ok but was I wrong. Mind you that we were traveling from vegas after checking out that more we started to drive back home 30 mins pass by and more bit marks start appearing. I mean this isnt right we are paying for a service and this isnt something a person should go through especially in a hotel never in my life had i seen anything like. I have 3 kids that were also with us that day. Mind you that I have tried to get in contact we management at the property but not one has cared enough to even answer. They seem not to even care about the matter and my anger is that this isnt right especially when there also kids staying in the property

Always a fan of the Luxe Sunset - the size of the room and the staff make it a warm welcome. For LA you are getting a nice setup. I have to add, however, that I could tell that my priority as a hotels.com guest was lower than someone directly booking - and despite my junior suite payment, my request to be up by the pool was met with reluctance. They accommodated but I had to ask. Other than that improvements in Wi-Fi and this is the place to stay
