Hotel Angeleno

Room was pretty small for 2 adults and 2 kids …also tv had no signal so couldn’t watch Olympics which was very disheartening

Valet service upon arrival (which was nice); Hotel clean and staff are very friendly; Gym is small; Nice size pool with a poolside window to coffee shop/store to purchase drinks (Lady at the coffee shop was so nice); Rooms were small for family of 4; With Freeway being nearby it is a little noisy by not annoying; Leaving the A/C on will help tune noise out. Overall, Hotel was very nice and I would recommend and stay here again.

Stayed for couple of nights with family here. Reading all the reviews we already knew the hotel is not walkable. You have to drive to restaurants and attractions from the hotel. Valet service was nice. The room is very noisy due to the highway nearby. The bathroom toilet plumbing system was broken duration our stay. It kept leaking waters.

I have been staying at The Angeleno for the past 5 years on a regular basis, whenever I’m in Los Angeles to visit family or friends. It has been very convenient and a great choice. I have always been recognized as a valued repeat customer, until this last weekend. The usual perks have been diminished and this was the first time I’ve been charged $40 for mandatory valet parking. I understand that things change, but when I mentioned it to “Jocelyn” upon checkout, she rudely waved me off and said she has never seen me before, so the charge stands. I have never seen her before and she is probably new as the turnover at a desk position is high. But it only takes one bad experience with an aloof, dismissive, uncaring employee to send a good customer elsewhere.

The good - Nice Staff, Easy check-in, Good restaurant and bar with a view, Nice room. Convenient location. The not so good - Flimsy door to adjoining room let a lot of noise in - loud TV and a couple of kids. The hotel is hard against Interstate 405, so that added to the issue. The hotel needs just a bit of an update; paint, carpet...showerhead. There was a little confusion on my part about what "Onsite Parking Included" means. Valet greets you but doesn't tell you it's $40. No directions to any self-parking. You're notified of the charge when you get to the check-in counter.

The staff was amazing. Hotel is really pretty. It’s definitely a hotel that is geared more towards adults. But even being there with my two kids they were able to have an enjoyable time. I don’t remember reading about parking only being valet, but was surprised by that. I did feel bad because I was doing pick up and drop off for my daughter so they were always running to get our car. Even still, they always had a smile on their face and was pleasant each and every interaction. We’ll definitely stay here again in the future.

Very safe, clean and well maintained property. Room was a bit dusty & not vacuumed well, but still felt very clean and comfy. Extremely limited menu choices, but beautiful dinning option/experience on site. Very thin walls- loud housekeeping & a loud family woke us up early each morning. Sound of 405 traffic did not bother us. Friendly & fast valet service, but pricey if not booking through hotel. Our 2nd time staying & will book again. Zero options for food/shopping/amenities nearby.
