The Mosaic Hotel - Beverly Hills

I was recovering here for surgery and two of the the nights I was there , kids were telling giggling and ringing all of our doorbells at 3am - mine included. I told front desk immediately both times but nothing was done. I also requested an extra blanket and my request was completely ignored. Location was absolutely a perfect location to my drs so that was great; hotel service and a respectful quiet policy was extremely disappointing

The hotel is lovely and the staff is amazing. I arrived nearly at 1 am with the kids right after Disney so I was tired and couldn't find the hotel. The manager went out of his way to help guide me in from outside so I could find them easily, was super kind and made sure we had what we needed for the night. The next morning we had breakfast at the beautiful restaurant downstairs where again we were greeted by such lovely staff and the food was amazing. The kids enjoyed having a cabana and having a pool to relax for the day. I highly recommend for the location and relaxing stay!

There are too many issues to list them all here with limited characters, so I'll do my best to be brief. The punch line is, spend your considerable travel dollars elsewhere. I urge you to carefully read the many 1-6 ratings this hotel has received. There is a common theme around the smell and shape that some of their rooms are in (namely the "cheaper rooms" they put families or guests who aren't booking super expensive suites). We got stuck in their worst room possible - it was moldy, musty with no ventilation and we all became sick from staying there. Despite us sharing this feedback during our stay (as well as others about their inability to provide extra blankets and pillows due to "low inventory") and at check-out - no attempt was made by the hotel to rectify it (and judging by past reviews - they have never fixed the underlying issues they have with cleanliness, etc.). We shared, and they agreed at check-out, that they shouldn't rent that room until it is repaired and cleaned up, but here's guessing they'll continue to ignore it as the reviews have been going on for years and they still have the same issues today. The Mosaic will respond to nearly all reviews as they clearly are more concerned with the illusion of customer service than they are with actually providing good service - because in fact they've been ducking calls from Hotels.com for days to resolve our issues. DO NOT STAY HERE!
