The entire hotel is under construction and the Oasis side of the hotel is destined to be demolished in the near future. We were placed in the Oasis side where the rooms are small and that part of the hotel is dated. The pool is completely under construction. A close family member stayed at the hotel three days before we arrived and stayed in the main tower which was a completely different experience with larger rooms, a room fridge, coffee maker. Oasis had none of the above. We paid the same price for the room so that was unfortunate. We could not get an uber because of the construction that has taken over the entire entrace. I would not stay at a hotel that is under construction. Expedia did not alert us to this major inconvenience.

Issues were not resolved without a charge and everything was met with difficulty. I even asked the front desk if they could remove the snacks from the room as I didn’t want my kids to eat them and they told me they would charge to remove it. Also had to leave early and asked for a letter confirming I am leaving early for insurance purposes. They told me they couldn’t do it. I asked them to remove the robes in the room. They never did it. Service was sub standard at best. They didn’t go out of their way to meet needs.

The checkin process is terrible!!! I prepaid for a room for my family. I got sick and stayed home and they refused to checkin my husband and child. I had to call the manager at 10:00 pm and insist. Front desk lady was awful to my husband. They could have called me direct, but wouldn't . My husband was ready to walk out. Note to hotel- you are in the hospitality business . Your service sucks. I will spend double to go back to BH Hotel, or Peninsula just not to deal with your terrible customer service!! Good Bye!! Never again!
