Second time here and it's always magical. The hotel gives the best vibes and really is a relaxing stay. We've booked the family suite both times and we genuinely enjoy our stay. We only wish it wasn't a pass through stop. Traveling w kids isnt always easy but this place is awesome. A welcome drink and CBD gummies in the gift shop hits the spot. Eel River Brewing is about 10 min drive and a great spot for dinner. The charm and the claw foot tub make this a place we will continue to come back to each year.

We hosted a memorial in the ball room and stayed the weekend in a family suite. It was an absolutely epic weekend. All the staff was so helpful and kind. Very cool old historic building, felt like staying in the Titanic. All our family was very very happy!

The staff was amazing! Ali and Christine were so kind and helpful accommodating us with our disabled child. Beautiful lobby, atmosphere, rooms and staff.

My family and I stayed at the lodge for our trip to Humboldt National Forest & Eureka and it was the perfect spot to stay! We had 4 adults & 4 kids under the age of 5 and the family suite accommodated us perfectly. The rooms and lobby were exceptionally beautiful and the hallways slightly spooky-but nice. We ate our packed lunch in the dining hall during the daytime and it was the perfect spot to let the kids run around without getting into trouble. Parking was nice and close to the entrance and the boutique inside was quaint and charming. We look forward to visiting again!

We were delighted to find Scotia Lodge when we were looking for a good place to stay after hiking in the parks. The concept for the lodge is great, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the common spaces offer seating for groups as well as for couples who want a little privacy. We wish we could have stayed another night but will surely recommend it to our family and friends.
